Where do you read that in the bible? (Sorry, I have just realised that you were referring to a poster here, not the biblical character!)Eli was raised in Albania, which is Eastern Orthodox.

Yes I don’t believe that either, and nor does the Bible suggests such a thing.
But why are you asking these questions like you’re in the first grade?
Jesus was born in the flesh from Mary.
Most humans in the world call this process birth, and the one who gives birth is the mother.
Yes, we acknowledge that God has no parents and He is eternal, but in the flesh He chose a different way.
Through Mary via The Holy Spirit.
Now, I realize that you’re asking these questions because you might be allergic to Catholic vibes, but this is what the Bible says.
Jesus was born through Mary in the flesh via the Holy Spirit.
This is why we call her the mother of God in the flesh.
True... sin is sin.The point is that all/both sexes have equally sinned per GN 3:6-8
and all/both sexes can be equally saved per GL 3:28.
Well, we should not blame Joseph for not being able to be the surrogate mother instead of the virginal father of Jesus in the flesh--and yes, this RQ was about RC vibes.
ROMANS 5:12
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin;
and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Not by the woman! But by one man!
The mention of A&E prompts this RQ as I read an article on Homo sapiens in a recent issue of National Geographic Magazine:
How does the story of A&E jibe with the existence of humans in Africa about 60,000 years ago per archeologists?
Question #1: Are there other earths with human life on them?
My answer: I doubt it, although I have seen people say there must be, because there are so many billions of suns in the universe, but I do not understand how one could arrive at an estimate of probability from a known case of only one--US!
Your answer?...
Let me think about it. NO.No. Jesus lived and died on this planet “once for all” … for all humankind. Were there “other earths”, He would have to have suffered and died many times.
God is light and in Him is no darkness at all 1 John 1:5Question #4: Is God free? Can God be evil? Is God the Father able to change His will, is God the Son free to sin, and could God the Holy Spirit become demonic?
Your answer (preferably Bible-based)?:
Mary in the bible is called the mother of Jesus. Although Jesus is fully divine, Mary is never called "Mother of God" in the bible. Joseph was the legal father of Jesus but not His biological Father:
“Now Jesus Himself began His ministry at about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, the son of Heli,” (Lu 3:23 NKJV)
Yes, He was popularly supposed to be the son of Joseph, but remember what Gabriel said to Mary:
“And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.” (Lu 1:35 NKJV)
God is light and in Him is no darkness at all 1 John 1:5
I think your hypothetical is unrealistic or not applicable.
You need to realize that when Paul spoke of Adam, he assumed Eve's "corporate" involvement.
IOW, Adam was viewed as the head, but not by way of denying that Eve was his equal helpmate,
as signified by being created out of his side.
Yes, Paul refers only to Adam, but GN clearly describes them co-sinning. Harmonize that.
I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet.
For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived;
it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.
1 Timothy 2:12-14
Have you remembered what it is you are arguing about?Yes, you cited half of what needs to be harmonized and ignored the other half, which is Gen. 3:6-7.
BTW, today my wife ran across some RBT materials from circa 2003.
One teaching I might have gleaned from him is "One Revocable Thing", which is #40 in a list of "Forty Things God Provides Every Believer at the Moment of Salvation"--the filling of the HS that is revoked when the believer sins and recovered when the believer rebounds or confesses.
