Wow, Trump threw a wrench into the whole complicated system of car manufacturing? Well this could be a boon to people who manufacture cars. What a fortunate coincidence for Tesla.
The system is quite efficient because it takes advantage of where the resources are located.
I wonder how many bureaucrats he is going to have to hire to figure out to tariff each part as they travel over the border, sometimes five times til it becomes a final product.
I sincerely doubt he realizes by mid April most of these plants could stop, we know what happens when the supply chain is interrupted.
He thinks he can re-shore all the auto sector in a year, so ridiculous.
Seems to me from an historical perspective alone, unquestioning loyalty and unwavering support towards any leader/politician is far,
far more problematic than having TDS which is not really a thing, all it is, is refusing to be part of what I am regarding more as a very cult like allegiance.

TDS, or in it's original form BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) began with a Psychiatrist/Political commentator named Charles Krauthhammer. I'm not a Psychiatrist but took Behavioral Science in school which meant having to learn similar subjects. Krauthhammer was not far right nor far left in politics and was vocal about his disapproval for extremism in politics. There is no official medical term for BDS or TDS but instead it was a type of theory that Krauthammer used in his political commentaries.
The same was used in the case of Thatcher (TDS) and would also apply to Biden(BDS) or any other politician. In the case of Trump by definition it depends if one was to agree or disagree with the "policies" of that given politician. Which would mean if J.D. Vance stated in the Signal conversation his disagreement that he thought it was a mistake which he did he has TDS because he disagrees with a Trump policy. Other examples of TDS would be if someone disagreed with Trumps policy on the Covid vaccine,AI,Iris scan ect. or any of the policies of Trump whether Republican or Democrat. I left out a whole lot of other things about Krauthammer but myself I would not parrot the man by using his terminology because I remember the part where he considered himself a Jewish Shinto(worshiped his ancient relatives) but it's been years since I've read about him so each should search for Charles Krauthammer and make up their own minds.
I thought he was all about the "Art of the Deal" the reality is "Deal Like a Bully."
Big time fail with Greenland, quite humiliating really. Yes a clown show. Yet, these countries are willing to meet and negotiate, makes me think there is a lot of desperation on the USA side behind the scenes.
He seems to have eased up on the Canada thing for now, probably because of the fall in tourism....

Yeah that's the spooky thing about Psychiatrist,Psychologist or even Behavioral scientist in that if they are capable of diagnosing and treating their patients they would then need to be able to implant thoughts into the patients minds. That craft could be used in a healthy or unhealthy manner if you consider it's nature. Governments and other fields use these techniques all the time implanting thoughts,beliefs ect..
Yes in eastern philosophy this is known as action -> reaction that I keep talking about.
We learned this in elementary school based on our history.
And before this concept existed in the ancient Mediterranean region 3 millennia ago, we can trace its origins even further on the story of Job in the Bible.
When his friends saw Job in that state, they said nothing for one week and sat with him in silence.
Because when you say nothing, you don’t initiate anything.
But when you say that a 12 year old can have a sex change and then you say a million other insane things, then you get Trump as a response.
If you didn’t say any of those things to begin with, we’d be in the center of the isle but this is how history goes.

Yes agree. I think the study of human behaviour is important, but like everything, it has been and will continue to be used for nefarious reasons.
I think my other point is that the term "TDS" is really just another thing which hinders meaningful conversation, much like when people employ the blanket accusation of "hate" as the final indictment against a person in conversation.
People did not talk this way 40 years ago, and yes the "right" is just as guilty.
So yes, to your point about implanting thoughts, everyone is susceptible and that is why important to NOT identify with any movement or group.

TDS accusation is just a very childish way of ad hominem. It’s in fact pretty entertaining to watch people accusing others of TDS. When a person resorts to saying TDS to belittle someone it goes from entertaining to hilarious.
