Think we are seoul sisters. See what i did there! Know what sweet friend, i'd happily give 10 years of my life not to be young again, that's if i have that long left. Still make plenty of mistakes but they're fewer and less consequential than they used to be. Yeah, you're one of the few here i think of as a true sister too.
Aw, thank you so much, I think the same of you, sweetheart! 💗I am always honored by your kindness.

This reminds me of a thread idea I've ran before and will probably run again in the future -- people always say, "If I could go back and do it all over again..."

I'm kind of glad I don't have that option.

I've always felt that in my stubbornness, I would have made all the same wrong decisions again -- and maybe even worse. :cautious:

I once read a saying I can't do justice, but it said something like the lines on our faces being a roadmap of where we've been in life -- and I hold to that more and more as I get older. :)

Much love to you, Sister! 🌸
Bless you for that Seoul, still have stuff to learn here, just added you and Magenta to mine. Ooh, must add SnackersMom too.

That would be an amazingly wonderful idea, we don't have that option but it can be cathartic talking about what we'd like to rewrite. Thing is, i've often found the worst/most cringe worthy things i've done, are the ones which taught me most.

My other 2 alias's are Mugre Pinzon and Trench Taipan, so it would be one of those if I left and came back or if I created a 2nd account to throw off the hordes of ladies who've been pestering me.
Rats! You saw me lurking behind the aspidistra! :p

This made me laugh so hard I just might have to write an entire thread around this idea (how best to scare off the hordes of suitors we're all trying to escape!):ROFL::ROFL:

I changed my name because I’m not a nice person and I wouldn’t want to be held accountable for my actions.😂

1. One CC account per person -- multiple accounts aren't allowed.
I am a big NFL fan with my team being the LA Rams. So back in 98 I joined a Rams fans website. They had a policy that you could only have one account. Well after years of posting on there one day I figured I am gonna have a little fun and create another account and use it to make fun of myself. So I named it.....A Fine Lass. I posted on it as my sassy ex girlfriend who was quite jaded with me......LOL

There may be a OP like why did you become a Rams fan. I would reply why I was one. Then come on later as A Fine Lass and say something like, Oh please, if your lips a movin' you a lyin'. You like the Rams because after you sheer your back you have your HUSSY knit you a wool sweater.........LOL

I finally came clean that it was me and so many laughed as they had thought it really was my jaded ex girlfriend. The site just made me shut it down with no repercussions since I had just used it for humor to make fun of myself.

I would use my real name or a company/other artist name I use. I think the name I currently have is fitting, cause people ask me what it means and when I tell them, they are happy about what it means and probably glad it’s not a Star Wars robot with herpes.

What about you?

* Have you thought about closing your current account coming back as a new one?

* What would be the reasons why?
I've only changed account once on an unrelated forum. I burned the bridge behind me on exit, and felt kinda dumb when I looked over my shoulder and realised that I'd left a bag of loot on the opposite side of the river.

As a rule of thumb, if I close my first account, I'm gone.

Being the quiet, submissive person that I am (snort,) I decided to run a little social experiment. I broke the rules and had 2 accounts going at the same time -- one was my "regular" name (it might have been Seoulsearch, as using "Seoul" has been with me for as long as I've been online,) and the other was a name that was a direct medical-type terminology of the female genitalia. I just wanted to see what would happen.
At least you chose a medical term and didn't play on words or use innuendo. You could've called yourself Garden of Eden or Pearly Gates, and been from the Nether Regions or Downstairs, to put it mildly.

Lol!

You have an awesome sense of humor.

Oh, I can't claim to be totally innocent. I love plays on words (hence the description under my username, "OutWrite Trouble,") and have to work in a bit of sass into most everything I do.

One of my "experimental" names on that bygone forum was "Dream *medical term for female counterpart" because so many boys were posting names bragging about their Lower Levels.

One guy wrote me and said, "Let me get this straight. So you're making fun of all these guys with names that spell everything out -- by having one yourself?"

"Darn skippy," I answered.

Needless to say, he was one of the few people who understood and made staying there a little while longer worthwhile.

My humour is usually an interplay of words, in context with intent, and largely depends on what someone thinks is being said.

You're as sharp as a tack when it comes to double meaning, especially when a message that would be socially unacceptable, or too offensive to state directly is in play.

Thank you for the kind words. :)

The ironic part is that I only have the vocabulary of, I'm guessing, about an American (USA) 8th grader. @Lynx and @cinder have vocabularies so vast, I often feel like I need an interpreter when communicating with them! :geek: I tend to use the same words over and over again, but talking to really smart people here helps keep me in check.

It's kind of funny because I guess it's an example of being shaped into a bit of a mutation of the conservative Christian community I was raised in. I'm ever-grateful for the Biblical foundation it gave me, but I quickly had to learn ways of asking "The Big Questions" I was either told not to think about, or everyone else was dying to ask too, but they were too afraid.

Therefore, I've had a lifetime of practice at trying to ask about things that could result in mushroom clouds of controversy -- while still trying to sound as harmless as a dove.

From what I've seen, you're light years ahead of me in your posts, so I'm looking forward to seeing more of what you have to say in the forums! :)

I've seen it all on here already. Puns, obscure words, and clever rhetorical excursions!

If my post count ever hits your numbers, I would be hard pressed not to the say the same thing, without using the same words.

Your unpretentious attitude is an endearing quality, so just keep doing what you do best, and augment your faith. :)

I truly appreciate your generous words. :)

Alas, don't be fooled though!

The only reason I'm not more preten-ti-ous" is because it's a really big word -- and I don't have time to look what it means when I'm writing. :geek::cool::LOL:

Nobody wants to be leafing through a thesaurus mid-conversation. Worse than a joke which needs explaining to be understood. The moment is lost and performing an autopsy won't revive it.

And you're most welcome. I've gleaned enough from your forum interactions to appreciate that kind words aren't going to be frittered away on you.

Right, time to get your thread back on track. Changing names, using alternate accounts, or getting a kick from the histrionics of guess who I am/was, is fine and dandy, but none of the habitual shenanigans which play out on forums can throw me off like a significant change to someone's profile picture. It's the first thing I identify with.

I’m not putting any profile picture in because I don’t want my old hag face to remain here if I’m getting banned lol.
