I think they have higher standards.
Even the good ones like Snowden are kept by Russia for political reasons to show the world "Hey look, Russia is a free nation that can welcome anyone from political persecution as long as you don't say anything bad about Putin".

Trump handled the fool well like a boss, JD Vance seemed to rep hard too so strong looks to him in the Successor plotline he is now retake the solid lead after Rubio's rockstar entrance. More or less people are offended by Zelensky and liked that Trump acted "like a boss" and handled him like a boss.
