Continued...

NightTwister, you seem like a perfectly nice person, and I have no reason to get into a huge debate with you.
So let me rephrase things: regarding this issue of judging the heart, there are multiple facets and nuances.
It's not a small topic, it's a large topic... a large topic with much nuance.
That's my primary point.

So I agree we should be careful, and gracious, in judging other people's hearts,
but at the same time, we are not left without any kind of practical assessments.

You have a great week.

The words Jewish Christianity and Jewish Christian’s do not appear in the Bible either. So if that means Gentiles we’re not Christian’s then neither were Jews. That doesn’t prove anything.
So because words are absent in the Bible means other words in the not in the Bible must be true?

Every source I have read about the church at Antioch says that it was a mixed congregation of Jews and Gentiles
Sources you read from Christianity paint their own picture and there are many more things they say that do not align with the Bible or history. The Bible facts and the timing tell a different story. Over 8 billion people on earth today were born since the 1930's, 2.5 billion follow some form of progressive liberal Christianity in religions people started 500 years ago. People believe Christianity is true and they believe Christians and Christian beliefs are in the Bible. They are not. The fact is that Peter's Jewish church never accepted the Gentiles. The real Jesus never taught or ministered to the Gentiles. Jesus ignored the Gentiles, told His disciples not to go to the Gentiles, and called the non-Jews “dogs.” The Jews never went to the Gentiles. Jesus never had anything to do with the Gentiles and never said anything positive about them. Neither did the disciples, who had no dealings with the people they called heathens, sinners, unclean, uncircumcised, pagans―and dogs. They encouraged Jesus to have nothing to do with the bothersome Canaanite woman who pleaded her case to Jesus for the restoration of her daughter’s health. The Jews in the days of Jesus had nothing to do with Gentiles, and Jesus never told the Jews otherwise, and nowhere in the Bible do we see a change in this attitude, nor do we see anything different from the Jews throughout the last two millennia, including today. God in Christ to us through Paul never united the Jews and Gentiles, saying nothing about the two coming together as one. As hard as Paul tried to bring the Jews to faith, they repeatedly rejected him. Never did the Jews and Gentiles come together, never did the Jews receive God's Spirit, and never did the Jews want anything to do with Paul or the Gentiles. Much of what Christianity believes came from false ideas and concepts passed down through the centuries, none of it true. Find any proof that the Gentiles co-worshiped in the Bible. You will also find people saying the Christian church began in Acts 2, an obvious impossibility. But that too, has made the rounds and became a self validating fact that everyone has heard all their lives and accepts it as truth. And there are many more that fill the many religions to overflowing. Just read the Bible. You assuming that there must have been Jews and Gentiles and believing what some someone wrote as gospel truth that has no validation is not biblical proof. Simply read the Bible and see if what the Bible actually says is what you believe.

You said….
“Peter always and only wrote to the Jews about the Jews for the Jews without mention or consideration to the Gentiles, let alone the Body of Christ. Paul writing "anyone" referred to the Jews to whom he wrote, not Gentiles and not "Christians." Nor does this mention have anything
Everything Peter, James, John, Jude and the writer of Hebrews ever wrote was to the Jews, never the Gentiles. Read the text carefully. The Hebrew epistles were written by men who did not have the indwelling Spirit and the discernment and understanding that follows. When Jesus spoke in the Gospel accounts He spoke to the Jews who did not have the indwelling Spirit, and never to the Gentiles. What many Christians believe are things they think the Bible says, not what the Bible actually says.

There is plenty of evidence in the scriptures that Paul often turned away from the Jews to the gentiles and preached and worked with them.
Yes, Paul went to the Gentiles. Paul also sought the Jews numerous times for their conversion.

Do you really believe that there were no gentiles in any of these churches???? Assumption!! Again. No proof! You are on sinking sand.
And show your proof that there were.... All the New Testament as a whole, not pieces here and there, are what tell the story. Christianity is in the fix it is in today from years of selectively taking a verse here and a verse there and boot-strapping them together to say what the Bible does not say at all.

You said the Bible does not speak of gentile Christianity or gentile Christian’s. Well,
“Jewish Christian” and Jewish Christianity do not appear in the Bible either. Acts 11:26 the word “disciples” includes both gentiles and Jews. It doesn’t mean “only Jews.” That doesn’t prove anything!!
Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Notice they were first called Christians, they did not call themselves Christians. The only thing you find in the Bible are Jews that did not want anyone to call them Christians. The word was a pejorative term leveled at Jesus-believing Jews that the culture considered a cult.
1Pe_3:14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
1Pe_3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
1Pe_4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
1Pe_4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

In their 30 plus years of ministry, Peter, Paul, James, John, Jude and the rest never called themselves, their followers, or their church Christian. No one in the Bible ever called themselves Christian. This idea that Christians as Gentile Christians exist in the Bible is what religions assume without proof. Find one instance anywhere in the Bible of such a thing. Nowhere in the Bible were Gentiles called Christians. You assume they were.

Acts 26:28 does not say “almost you persuade me to be a Jewish Christian”. . You assume too much. No proof.
This is very straight forward. Agrippa as a Roman ruler and nothing to do with the Jews and had no idea what Paul believed or if it was even different from what Peter believed. You assume too much in thinking he did as there is no indication of such a thing.

1Peter 4:16 does not say if any “Jew” suffers as a Christian. No proof. It says if ANYONE— that, my friend , includes gentiles, blacks, whites, Asian, etc. Anyone” means any body. Not just Jews. Why would you try to make that “only Jews?”
Since Peter, James, and the rest only wrote to the Jews, never considered the Gentiles, never mentioned the Gentiles, never cared for the Gentiles, it was against their law to have any dealings with the Gentiles and Samaritans, never sent their writings to the Gentiles, are not recorded anywhere in the Bible as having anything to do with the Gentiles, and never understood anything God said to the Gentiles, through Paul, and considered the Gentiles heathens, sinners, unclean, uncircumcised, pagans―and dogs, and do to this day, yea, I feel good saying Jews and Gentiles were never an item as they are not now nor have they ever been in the history of the world. That's a fact. It would be a huge assumption to think these were co-worshiping. The Jews and the Gentiles have been seperate since the Jewish nation began 4000 years ago and that is fact.

Regardless of whether you believe it or not, the churches in the New Testament were “ORDERED” to take up a collection on the first day of the week
Again, like so much of Christianity, one event for a specific purpose 2000 years ago does not make it a forever doctrine. If this were a God-ordained command and order, it would be throughout Paul's writings. Yes, a worker is worthy of his wage and their are expenses and we give as we see need cheerfully. There is no prohibition in giving and sharing, nor is there everlasting command of such a thing.

“Now concerning the COLLECTION for the saints, As I have given ORDERS to the CHURCHES of Galatia, even so MUST YOU DO also.
“ On the first day of the week, let each one of you lay something aside, AS HE HAS PROSPERED…”.
For the Jews in poverty.

This is a command for all churches. Every time there is a first day of the week. This provides funds for the churches to help needy saints, provide for their widows, and support the preaching of the gospel.
Sunday did not exist until the fourth century.

This is a command for all churches. Every time there is a first day of the week. This provides funds for the churches to help needy saints, provide for their widows, and support the preaching of the gospel.
Isolated case. This is what people want to believe and they are adamant about their beliefs. The Mormons are adamant that they will be god's in Heaven. Simply looking at the Bible tells a very different story about being gods and other doctrines religions believe that the Bible does not support. Making laws and commands is part of human nature and you see it throughout time. God gave us a very simple message that invalidates all the laws. people create and follow.

It’s fine for you to not believe this. That is certainly your choice. Just remember that Jesus said His word will judge you in the last day. Good luck with that.

I sleep fine.

I prefer to share what I did and as a result God blessed me in hopes so it would cause others to try.
There are people in this thread with some seriously heretical views... and you aren't one of those people.
Any disagreements you and I are having are relatively minor.
So you have a great week.
God Bless.

God explains ways the HEART can be understood BY the fruit.

In scripture God explains much about methods of discernment, because he expects us to discern things.
If people don't wish to use scripture to discern things, that is between them and God.

.
Indeed.

DEUTORONOMY 14:22-23

22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

23 And thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the Lord thy God always.
People get all twisted over this one btw. It’s better for you to tithe as you see fit and be quiet about it.

That is why when Jesus arrived, he fulfilled this law in Tithes & Offerings.
MATTHEW 5:17

Here...

Given these two passages:

Genesis 17:10, 12 This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised. ... For the generations to come every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised, including those born in your household or bought with money from a foreigner—those who are not your offspring.

Galatians 5:2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.

You claim, on the basis of Ecclesiastes 1:9 and Malachi 3:6, that God does not change His commandments. How do you explain the plain text which says "You must be circumcised" in one place, and "If you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you" in another? It sure looks to me that God changed His command!

It is very clear in Man's understanding on what circumcision is.
Circumcision is a surgery to remove the skin that covers the tip of the penis, also called the foreskin.

In Man's understanding (literal word), all women are exempted in this law.

Let us not forget that God The Father who gave this Law is speaking in Parables.
EZEKIEL 20:49
49 Then said I, Ah Lord God! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?
PSALMS 78:2

2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

Here is an example as demonstration that God The Father is Speaking in Parables.

When God The Father told about a Man who will come.
God The Father is referring to John The Baptist.
According to God The Father, when John The Baptist come, he will prepare the way as detailed in below verses.
ISAIAH 40:3-4
3
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

If John The Baptist will come in our times today, it is very clear that He is a Civil Engineer.
But God The Father is Speaking in Parables, he is speaking about Preparing The Way Spiritually and Not Literally, that is why when John The Baptist arrived he is Baptizing in Water.
There is no relation in water in preparing the way, valley shall be exalted, mountains & hills made low and crooked be made straight and rough places plain.
But we can't deny, John The Baptist fulfilled what God The Father said.

Therefore The Law for Circumcision is Spiritual Circumcision and Not in literal as Man's understand..
GENESIS 17:10-13
10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

Who can reveal the meaning of Spiritual Circumcision?
No One in this world could but Jesus Christ Alone.
Apostle John is referring to the book which is the Holy Bible.

No one should have to push or beg for money for the church. If you are part of a church you should be giving as much as God has blessed you to give.

correct👍

Sorry, not trying to pick apart your story, but it's not "our" money, every blessing we have comes from God.

I know it’s Gods, but at that particular point I wasn’t seeing it that way, that’s why I said ‘our’ and not His.

That's a wonderful end to the story!! God brought you into agreement! I believe God blesses us when we give, not always with material things. But He will bless givers.
He has blessed us in many ways but I can still say that we’ve never gone short of money.

So, from where do the funds come to honor the elders?

"Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. 18 For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.”
