Slain in the spirit?

This is why I know without a doubt that what you described in the first post of this thread is both authentic and of God. You came into contact with the presence of The Most High God of the Holy Bible and you know that you did. You know what happened to you is not the devil but it's 100% God. You know that what happened to you is as real as touching your face. Consider yourself blessed. Those who will never have this experience are truly not as blessed because God won't approach those who doubt and mock God.

Well this was certainly a powerful experience I have always hone through things like this since the beginning of my faith but not as powerful but it happened after a friend at the time laid his ahnds on me saying this isn't from me it is from God and I felt God's power for the first time so much I was just stunned unable to move just smiling like a goof ball I was under heavy attacks from demons at the time and even after as I grew in acceleration with God in this new found relationship with him the demons kept trying to attack me and some of them came especially hard when I came on here speaking of this higher level we can have with God IO won't lie the attacks came harder and harder my health got severely bad and worse over time every step I took forwards the demons came at me harder.

Spiritual warfare is not my strong suite but I was in a place with God that was like a different dimension something I never could have dreamed.
sadly though I was not well recieved by most here and eventually I became to weak to keep going on my mission I was assigned

Wrong. I have experienced this "falling" personally, and nobody was close enough to push me. I've observed it many times when the person was not pushed.

It's a colloquialism. Get over it.

When someone is so relaxed under the power of the Holy Spirit that they are essentially unresponsive, they are described as "slain in the Spirit". No, it doesn't mean "dead" so all speculation and contrasting with "life" is irrelevant.

What does it mean to be slain?

You mentioning that you shared your experience and then basically was attacked over it reminded me of the several times I read in the Bible involving Jesus and the Pharisees.

We've read the Torah and Prophets and can't find anywhere in the Bible where you should be healing on the Sabbat.

In this thread it's I can't find Slain in the Spirit even though there's multiple examples involving David, 3 Disciples during Transfiguration, John in Revelation and even throughout the Old Testament. But their responses are very similar to the Pharisees towards Jesus over healing on the Sabbat.

Just ignore them. You know the truth and have been blessed by encountering Almighty God in a way they will NEVER EXPERIENCE.

We have to do “What would Jesus Do…. If it isn’t going to bring forth good fruit then it’s best to stop.

I believe we as seasoned Christians should have control over manifesting these spirits. We need to show love to others, and in a loving way show them the light…

I find sometimes we can open up doors to satan, especially if we are a threat to him. I was watching a movie the other day about psychics and ghost hunters going into these old homes where demons have been left after people pass. ( some call them ghosts) whatever…
any that night when I when to bed I got that feeling of a sponge just sucking the life out of you… like I used to get when I was little, my dad pastored on an Indian reservation that had a satan worshipping shaker church. All you can do is keep trying to say Jesus ( power in that name). And keep saying it over and over until that spirit leaves. I found it you mess with things of Satan he is going to come through that crack in the door. So search your hearts. Ask God if there is anything you are doing that is not pleasing to Him. And ask for forgiveness and for Him to show you, and for you to do better. It a prayer I often pray. We are always growing in Christ. So have patience with the ones who arnt quite as mature in their walk as you think you are. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is Unity…

Was reading some earlier posts. Satan is an entity that doesn’t have much of an imagination. God does fall upon people in many ways. The biblke is full of verses that show this. And Joel’s prophecy was not just for that moment. Read Acts 2:39.
but Back to satan. He mimics everything that God does. Trying to out do what God does but never accomplishing it.

the Problem with Satans power, it always ends up in destruction. The Power of God Heals, comforts, strengthens, blesses, teaches. A lot of times when you are slain in the spirit by the Holy Ghost Anointing, God is doing a work inside of you.

ive been to some churches and seen people acting out and it was just in the flesh. They had been instrusted how to do this by others. But it wasn’t satanic, not all the way, just over zealousness, but the real Spirit when he really manifests Himself you will know! And you will not be able to disagree that the Spirit of the Lord is in that Place.

have you ever encountered shadow people? I have had to deal with them several times but the name Jesus scares them off every time they don't want us to know the authority we have in Christ either when you become firm in this authority they have no choice but to submit

I feel in the discernment of the Holy Spirit that you are careful about your walk in and with God. That you are careful about not being deceived. That you are aware and conscious about not quenching the Spirit of God.

So what I am saying is you know that you were not deceived about the experience you had. You know you were sincere. And you know that the preacher did not physically touch you nor used deception.

According to your testimony from page 1 she reached towards you BUT NEVER TOUCHED YOU. And when she did that the Power of God's Holy Presence was so strong you fell in submission.

Now, YOU ARE FULL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD!

This means the devil couldn't make your body submit because you have the GREATER POWER inside you.

So the best thing you can do is to know that no demon could knock you down.

That means it could ONLY BE THE GENUINE POWER OF GOD.
