I think Judas was Saved. I also think we need to remember that Judas was possessed by Satan so to betray Jesus.

I think that explains why Judas hanged himself. Cursed is anyone who hangs on a tree. And his repentance is on record when he went to the temple and returned the silver.

Satan in possessing Judas so that Jesus could be crucified and fulfill his purpose in dying as the unblemished lamb taking the Sins of the world upon Himself actually took the power of death from Satan.

God works all things for His purpose. That's Sovereign Dominion.

That's our Father!
I think it would even be better to remember that Judas didn't blame Satan for his actions. Judas, very obviously, felt guilt, shame and sorrow (albeit ungodly!) for HIS sin. This is why he hanged himself! He even admitted his sin when he returned the pieces of silver.

Whoah whoah whoah

you're saying that when Jesus in very plain language told us in Mark 4 that He specifically taught in parables in order to keep some people blind and deaf, He was essentially lying ???

that's your explanation for clear scripture that contradicts your presumptions?
Jesus Christ is a liar? He says things He means exactly the opposite of, for jokes?

wow.

Don't you love it when these man-loving, man-exalting freewillers use their own carnal reasoning as the standard for determining truth or for reconciling apparent contradictions?

You are here to tempt ....
To see whom you can get out of fellowship with the Spirit by getting them to sin.

If you did not know that?
Now... you do!
No I'm not. I'm here to learn and to share what I have learned. Grace and peace.

When Satan was within Judas it appeared it was Judas betraying Jesus.

Here's a thought to consider when thinking Judas chose to Sin and betray Jesus.
Even though he couldn't be the one choosing when we are told it was Satan within him.

But for Satan,Judas, how would Jesus have died for us?

Mr. Genez leaves very low hanging fruit to pick. He wants to know what sin could a bodiless soul commit. I wonder if he was really serious! How 'bout the fall of all the bodiless angels? Or did they fall without sinning?

Not only do angels have physical bodies when materialized?

Those same physical bodies can also eat human food!

The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at
the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. Abraham looked up and saw three men
standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet
them and bowed low to the ground.
He said, “If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by. Let a
little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree.
Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way
—now that you have come to your servant.”
“Very well,” they answered, “do as you say.”
So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. “Quick,” he said, “get three seahs of the finest
flour and knead it and bake some bread.”
Then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf and gave it to a servant, who
hurried to prepare it. He then brought some curds and milk and the calf that had been prepared,
and set these before them. While they ate, he stood near them under a tree. Genesis 18:1-8

Never knew that, did you? Later in the chapter, we are to discover those men were angels!

Now, it is man who can not yet dematerialize for God's transferring us about. That will come after the Rapture.

Your arrogance and condescension is a very poor reflection on Jesus. Just from an outside perspective. You are not being respectful or even arguing in good faith. You're behaving more like a cult adherent and making divisions for no other reason than self aggrandizement. I'm not telling you this as a insult, but as a friend that hopes someone will point it out to me if I start sounding like this. The CDSC (Calvin Derangement Syndrome Cult ) thinks way too highly of themselves and not highly enough of God or other people. They do not see they act 180 degrees from how Jesus told us to treat each other. Here to other people who proclaim Jesus name. I guarantee that 90% of who you call "Calvinist" would tell you "I'm not a Calvinist", but that sure doesn't stop the CDSC from calling you one then going on to destroy teachings you clearly say you've never believed in, and high fiving each other as if they are Holy warriors fighting on Gods behalf. It's beyond sad and is a disgrace to Jesus name. Don't fall into this cult way of thinking man. We can disagree and both be saved, both be brothers. But the way you speak doesn't feel like it leaves much room for that. Not when you (not YOU but most Calvin slayers) have to mislabel me, lie about what I believe, then go on to attack the lie you made up to lift up self and make yourself feel better about your own belief. Once the CDSC starts listening and actually dealing with what is said and not what they make up, stop labeling others falsely and being divisive just for divisiveness sake, then we can come together and discuss these things like we should, but until they can drop the false authority they've imagined up in their own minds and deal with these matters in truth, then there is absolutely no reason at all to waste time "fighting" with them endlessly.
These vicious divisions within Christianity were firmly in place centuries ago.

People were executed because of these divisions.

I am stating the truth regarding the letter to the Romans.

I was saved in a church that was split because of the theology of Calvinism.

Newsflash for you: ALL Angels are spirit beings!

Heb 1:14
14 Are not ALL angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

NIV

If the common, normal form that angels possessed (but can take at times) were material bodies, there would be no difference between angels and humans. Furthermore, there is no record in scripture that angles die as humans do! Spirit beings cannot die the way humans do. Why do you think God had to take on the form of a man!?

You appear deeply confused. I never stared anything even remotely related to your post. In face my first words in my post that you quote states that I think Judas was Saved.

Unless I'm mistaken that you are in full error misrepresenting my post and instead are making a declaration of your beliefs.
If I did, I apologize. So...you're saying that Judas died a saint!? If so, Jesus didn't think so!

Well, we have touched on this before and I've said many times that Adam was of the natural world, and that Jesus was purposed from before the foundation of the world, so God certainly knew that Adam was going to sin ... and I believe that as a natural man it was inevitable that he would, not that God forced him to, but because he chose to. And it wasn't until he actually sinned that everything changed ... the whole universe was affected.
So it follows that after Adam everyone was born depraved and unable to understand anything?

Their Father, yes...

But Jews were not the Bride to His Son.

The Bride applies only for the Church!

For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,
and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery—but I am talking
about Christ and the church. Ephesians 5:31-32

Paul did not say.....

This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ
and everyone who has ever believed.

And, there we have it...
Nonsense. God was their bridegroom. Why do you think He was so angry at their [spiritual] IDOLATRY!? Jesus didn't invent a new metaphor when he came. He always drew his truth from the OT.

Perhaps that applies to you? I certainly never said any such thing.

But know that if you respond and I do not it is because I have had you on ignore since:

Your split tongue still does not impress me. It's actually repulsive.
You ought to make a more concerted effort to overcome your desire to deceive.

I know it is a choice you make, to be deceptive. But you discredit yourself.

How can anyone believe anything you say when you gleefully speak out of both sides of your mouth?
Jacob and Esau were being spoken of. Do you really not know who they represent?

But why ask me questions when you refuse to answer mine?

Your split tongue is not impressive.

Oh...so we are to give credit to the devil and Judas for the Son of God becoming incarnate and dying for us? Is there any room in these superstars' spotlight for God to come onstage and take a a very quick, small bow?

I accept you found yourself unable to answer my question.

God Bless.
