Is that because they are going to kill off the humans, or because they will be making billions of these, or both?
Those are the exact questions that I asked myself. In another interview I remember him predicting that AI would become too powerful . He had said that they would endanger humanity. That was his reasoning why "we" have to get control of it now and pass laws to prevent that from happening.
He reminded me of an Isaac Asimov book I read as a child, I Robot..

Sophia, the well-known AI robot, has been given bonafide citizenship in Saudi Arabia.
It is not difficult to imagine an AI robot/computer that can access any and all AI links on all our personal accounts; and to know and be able to reveal anything about any one person whose identity exists on the internet.

That's been accomplished for many decades by USA and foreign agencies.
Companies like Google make the most money by selling personal information.
I agree with you though. Those computer systems are being used to do much more harm than any good.
We can look at China as the prime example. Their social credit score system is the model for the rest of the world.
And now we know why the Bible calls it the Beast system and an empire like no other.
Does This Worm Prove We're In a Computer Simulation?
This worm proves that it is theoretically possible that everything you see is a simulation.
Biblically speaking it is essential that we are in a simulation. The book of revelation says that God will wipe away every tear. How could that be if this were not a simulation? Consider the big question "If God is righteous how can He allow all this evil?" Well, if this is a simulation then that explains that question.
Another question, God is real and desires all men to be saved and yet billions will go to hell? For eternity? If those people are simply simulations designed to help train God's children to rule and reign that makes a very big difference.
Also, consider this, how could John see this beast system rising 2,000 years ago? However, if we are living in a simulation and John was able to see that then it would make perfect sense.
How does God tell the end from the beginning? Again if we are in a simulation that makes perfect sense.
How is it that time will be no more? Well if time is a construct of the simulation that also makes perfect sense.
The simulation theory is the atheist's version of god without calling it god.
I have always found it interesting that as science has progressed it has validated the existence of The Creator even more.
So a lot of these atheist scientists are backed into a corner now with all this data, so they come up with a theory like the simulation theory.

That doesn't make sense, if the atheists believe we are in a simulation then obviously they believe in a creator.
In my opinion this is the only thing that makes sense. Hell is made for the fallen angels, not for man. We have free will so naturally we could choose hell, but it was made for the fallen angels who have no possibility of redemption. So how is God righteous if He made hell for these angels? No one would have any problem with that if this were a simulation. The new Testament tells us that we are being trained to rule and reign with Christ. That also makes sense if this is a simulation. We train pilots on simulators before putting them in the seat. It also explains "time will be no more". If time is a construct of the simulation the minute you take the goggles off that time is no longer applicable to you. It explains how our souls are eternal while our bodies decay and are not. It also explains how God could allow such evil as genocide if this is a simulation. Jesus said as much, don't fear those that can only kill the body and after that are powerless, fear Him who after you are dead can cast the soul into Hell. That makes sense if our bodies are simulations.
I thought this episode of Tsubasa Chronicles was interesting because they used electric transfer trucks and automated electric buses that had to charge themselves every few hundred miles and they charged themselves without human assistance. The main characters were able to see the charging stations and times the vehicles were to charge on a tablet. If the US infrastructure was set up like this it would work as far as transport of semi trucks from factory to factory to 'amazon' and store.
