22 What if God, although willing to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared (Passive voice)for destruction?

23 And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared(active voice) beforehand for glory,

Notice something missing in verse 22?

God fits for Glory. Vessels fit for destruction.

Easy peasy if we don't have bias.

2 Tim 2:21~~
Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be an implement for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.

This has been my position all along. If you read back to the post that I responded to, you will find that someone posited double predestination. I was making the case against it. Sounds like we agree. Men fit themselves for salvation.

I’m saying our sins are what seperate us from God and is the reason we need to repent and believe the gospel.

“but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.”

i was saying a persons sin is the thing that separates them from God like Adam and Eve or like cain. Believing the gospel is the thing that came after to save mankind from thier sins .

man was separated from God because of mankind’s iniquity and the gospel is God coming to reconcile that problem of man’s tbat separated man from Gods intimate presence with us

Then this "bully" challenges you, your sidekick CV5 and most especially Inquisitor to interpret Rom 1:13 and Rom 11:13. Can any of you post anything of genuine substance or are you all stuck on your second childhood.

Christ came to give us RENEWED life, eternal life, abundant life, and reverse the curse.

Adam was separated, yes. But only by degrees. Not completely, not permanently.
Why? Because the Bible makes clear that Adam was a "special case". Thats why.
His sacrificial love being the crucial factor.

I mean God is certainly on speaking terms with mankind right?
Adam did not keel over after he ate the fruit right?
Adam was not cast immediately into the lake of fire right?
God was interacting with Adam and Eve and their progeny post fall right?
God has made covenants with men right?

Then explain how God raises the spiritually dead in this age to life.

I'd say the Calvin's Institutes were right on! God did create TWO lumps out of one. And I don't think he solicited anyone's blessing or approval before he decreed that in eternity.
