Gentiles never had the law to begin with so the Gentile Christians walk by the spirit.
I'm not a gentile.

Rom 10:12-13 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Gal 3:28-29 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Col 3:10-11 KJV 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

As a child of God it has nothing to do with blood line....
1Jn 3:9-10 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

As a servant of God I want to obey.
Rom 6:15-16 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Sin is the transgression of the law

Yes we should love and worship Jesus every day. We should strive for the Fullness of His Spirit at all times but God said "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy." No other day is made holy and we are not asked to remember any other day.
God said it and people are say it doesn't matter, it isn't important, just keep any day, God wont mind which day. But is it important to God? We don't earn salvation and buy our tickets to heaven but we obey because we delight in doing Gods will.
God must think it is important, look at the past and Israel, when they disobeyed God it resulted in disaster.
God made the 7th day holy and has not changed that. The devil loves to see us dissobey the commands of God and what better way then to trick the world into thinking that commandment is made void.

Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. ....12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Jas 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

It does matter.. People are quick to say 9 of the 10 apply today but the one that God said remember is the one people are saying forget,, don't worry about that one commandment,, that one doesn't matter, that commandment can be kept any day or every day. But the God of creation was specific and clear about which day was made holy.
Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
I haven't heard of the sabbath until recently. How do you keep it holy according to scripture?

Read your Bible.

Exo 20:8-11
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Remember there is a difference between the sabbath of creation and the sabbaths introduced because of sin.

Thanks. I grew up Christian and this was never taught. I'm reading the Bible on my own now from beginning to end. Not at Exodus yet.

The law is without power, ie, entirely useless, if it doesn't have the ability to condemn. Do old laws that regulate horse traffic on public roads impact those who drive cars? Of course not. Such laws have become entirely useless, obsolete. Same with the 10 commandments
If it does have the ability to condemn then we need a solution.

Rom 7:8-11 8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. 9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. 10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. 11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

You said it does not have the ability to condemn.

That is not true.
We can be freed from the condemnation by faith in God's grace.

If the law does not condemn in any way then how can we be guilty of sin?

All have sinned.

The law has no power to condemn when Jesus forgives us but only because Jesus paid the price.

If each sin needs to be paid for by the blood of Jesus, do we continue to sin?

When do the moral laws of God become obsolete? Murder, stealing, coveting, living, having others gods before Jesus.

All 10 are still valid today
Society would be a much better place if people kept the 10 commandments.

Great 👍
The word of God full of wonderful gems.

God will guide you. 🙏

Don't let people tell you to throw out the 10 commandments with the other laws.

Gen 2:2-3
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

God blessed and sanctified the 7th day before sin and it was a wonderful gift.

Look it up on utube, how "beavers rest every sabbath." It's amazing.

We can be freed from the condemnation by faith in God's grace.
We are free from condemnation in Christ, not can be. If we are in Christ who/what can condemn us? Nothing. The law? Christ is interceding on our behalf. God? He is the one who justified us. Nothing can condemn us except our own conscience

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Romans 8:33-34
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

Once you look at her with lust you have already failed.

That's before you get to multiply the species.
I assure you it is far, far better to recognize that longing (lust) and pull the reins back on it before letting it conceive and bear fruit. Who does that, us or God? Self-control is a fruit of the spirit. We're not sock puppets

But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren. James 1:14-16

Ordinances = Strong's Definition: From the base of G1380; a law (civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical): - decree, ordinance.

The ceremonial laws were abolished.
The ceremonial laws are not the same as the moral laws.

The ten commandments were spoken by God and are about loving each other and loving God. The cerimonial laws were about dealing with sin and pointing forward to Christ.
There is a difference. You can not prove that these laws in Eph 2:15 are the 10 commandments.
This is hogwash. There is one law. You can show nothing in scripture that supports this claim. It's simply a desperate, pathetic attempt to justify legalism

We all have a conscience, some harden their conscience and some hear the soft voice of God talking to them.

Joh 16:8-11 8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; 10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Heb 12:5-65 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

1Ki 19:12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

There are many examples of God talking to His saints, convicting them of sin.

The Holy Spirit wants to talk to all of us but we choose if we listen or not. To those that have ears to hear.
The text specifically says the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin because they do not believe.

If you wish to apply that to yourself, of course you can, but I don't know why you would.

The Holy Spirit shows us yes but how does He show us?

The word and the law.

The Holy Spirit convicts us of the truth.

The Holy Spirit can not convict us if we are ignorant of what is right. The law makes it plan.

The law reveals right and wrong.

The Spirit convicts us.
This is certainly true to a point, but the spirit is not limited to the ten commandments. It gets to the very heart of the matter by revealing to us that all sin is the fruit of not loving our neighbor as ourselves. That's why the 10 commandments are useful in instruction, but are not needed, because the 2 great commandments cover everything regarding righteousness

The reason you didn't hear of it growing is because Christianity has moved on from the shadows into the light. Christians have never been under the law of Moses except through their own volition. Legalists choose to remain in darkness out of fear and lack of fully understanding the gospel

The law is made for the unrighteous. Those in Christ are righteous, so the law is not made for them

Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; 1 Timothy 1:9-10
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he [Christ] is righteous. 1 John 3:7
The Law was given to humanity, the sgosen people first but if for everyone, jesus send his disciples throughout the worls before he left for heaven to say all he said, and did. ( the great comission, Mat 28:16-20). The commandments under the New covenant is one of the things they preached, Jesus main message was to preach repentance and announce the Kingdom of Heaven. It was the reason Jesus was sent to us.

Seven-day human biological rhythms: An expedition in search of their origin, synchronization, functional advantage, adaptive value and clinical relevance

Abstract

This fact-finding expedition explores the perspectives and knowledge of the origin and functional relevance of the 7 d domain of the biological time structure, with special reference to human beings. These biological rhythms are displayed at various levels of organization in diverse species - from the unicellular sea algae of Acetabularia and Goniaulax to plants, insects, fish, birds and mammals, including man - under natural as well as artificial, i.e. constant, environmental conditions. Nonetheless, very little is known about their derivation, functional advantage, adaptive value, synchronization and potential clinical relevance. About 7 d cosmic cycles are seemingly too weak, and the 6 d work/1 d rest week commanded from G-d through the Laws of Mosses to the Hebrews is too recent an event to be the origin in humans. Moreover, human and insect studies conducted under controlled constant conditions devoid of environmental, social and other time cues report the persistence of 7 d rhythms, but with a slightly different (free-running) period (τ), indicating their source is endogenous. Yet, a series of human and laboratory rodent studies reveal certain mainly non-cyclic exogenous events can trigger 7 d rhythm-like phenomena. However, it is unknown whether such triggers unmask, amplify and/or synchronize previous non-overtly expressed oscillations. Circadian (~24 h), circa-monthly (~30 d) and circannual (~1 y) rhythms are viewed as genetically based features of life forms that during evolution conferred significant functional advantage to individual organisms and survival value to species. No such advantages are apparent for endogenous 7 d rhythms, raising several questions: What is the significance of the 7 d activity/rest cycle, i.e. week, storied in the Book of Genesis and adopted by the Hebrews and thereafter the residents of nearby Mediterranean countries and ultimately the world? Why do humans require 1 d off per 7 d span? Do 7 d rhythms bestow functional advantage to organisms? Is the magic ascribed to the number 7 of relevance? We hypothesize the 7 d time structure of human beings is endogenous in origin - a hypothesis that is affirmed by a wide array of evidence - and synchronized by sociocultural factors linked to the Saturday (Hebrews) or Sunday (Christian) holy day of rest. We also hypothesize they are representative, at least in part, of the biological requirement for rest and repair 1 d each 7 d, just as the circadian time structure is representative, in part, of the biological need for rest and repair each 24 h.

see also this important verse about the sabbath;

Isaiah 58:13-14 (KJV):
13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Dear verité, You will see when you read the old testament that the 10 commandments, are in fact the covenant you will also see that they are eternal commandments and are also called the Moral law. Unfortunately some people do not understand the bible, usually the words of Paul as they are difficult to understand sometimes and unfortunately confuse some people in the new testament, and say wrongfully that the commandments are no longer valid which is wrong, Please keep this in mind and ideally take notes as you go along on topics that interest you when you read the bible, it is important.

Blessings.
