I'm 73, so yes, I am well aware that Iran was once Israel's ally. It's one more piece of evidence that God's word is infallible. No one could have foreseen that Iran would in an instant become Israel's worst enemy. Yet Iran/Persia is one of the nations foretold to be one of those who attempt the destruction of Israel. However, God saw it coming. He revealed that to Ezekiel, chapter 38.

Every nation contaminated by Islam is as miserable as sin. Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon et etc. Afghanistan was a popular tourist destination. Lebanon was once a thriving, prosperous and peaceful nation. Islam is a blight on the world like no other.

You think God pussyfoots around with His enemies? Look what happened in the OT. If the Western world had not opposed the Axis forces in WW2, Germany and Japan would be running the world between them. Sitting around a campfire singing "Kumbaya" won't get the job done.

Do you think Israel should sit around meditating while monstrous Muslim terrorists kill every last Jew, as is their stated intent? It's pathetic attitudes like yours that makes the world a more dangerous place. You should hear what the son of founding Hamas leader, Mosab Hassan Yousef, has to say about how to treat Hamas. Hint. Not like Israel treated Hamas until 7th October last year.

When will dispensationlists realize this is not ancient times.

You conveniently failed to mention Russia who was instrumental in defeating Germany.

It is actually the theory of dispensations that has created this mess along with a false futurist eschatology.
Keep waiting that generation passed away along time ago.

Russia never really switched sides their ideologies were still aligned and the people they "Helped" Russians were hostile to. Stalin took berlin only because Hitler betrayed him. persecuting of Jews and Christians happened in Russia well into the 1970s.

I agree that Russia was instrumental. Let's leave out eschatology and tell me this: what nation anywhere at anytime would endure what Israel has endured without fighting back? If you have a better plan, that does not involve the end of Israel and Jews, tell me. I'm all ears. I've been asking this question since 7th October 2023. By the way, "Just stop it" is a Greta Thunberg response, useless and insulting to those who suffer.

Israel was legally granted nation status in 1948. Prior to that time, Jews had been settling in "Palestine", buying land from local Arabs including a Christian who had substantial holdings. Israelis transformed what was a wilderness.

Mark Twain (perhaps you've heard of him) wrote about his visit to the land now called Israel. He said that it was mostly uninhabited. Jews did not come in and kick out vast numbers of Arabs. There just were not many there in the first place. It was only when Israelis put the work into transform the land that Arabs started getting resentful and jealous. Well too bad for them. What's done is done.

God is all knowing. Do you imagine that He does not know who will repent and who will not? God graciously warned Ninevah that judgement was coming. They repented. God spared them. Later, Ninevah went back to its wicked ways. What God had promised came upon them.

It's about time that people took God seriously. Read the book of Revelation to see what happens when people reject God and His ways.

During ww2 the Japanese's weren't treating our prisoner of war right and look what happened. we bombed them- Hiroshima killing between 150,000-250,000.

Yup! I'm from the Philippines. My relatives went through a lot because the Japanese invaded my country when we were just minding our own business. Also Korea and China! And Japan WOULDN'T STOP even when Germany already surrendered.

Those 2 bombs HAD TO be dropped on them or the Japanese would have continued to fight, killing even more people.

I've read the Book of Revelation once or twice. everyone that takes the mark the wrath of God comes upon them. But you'd have them dead before they grow up, before they have the choice. I'm not going to argue with you about it, But me and my house are going to choose compassion and mercy and love. Like Jesus did with me.

Well if you want a real conversation where the investment of my time is meaningful first we must accept that the history of the formation of modern day Israel did not start in 1948.

What they are doing now is more likely to end the nation of Israel btw, if in fact they gave up the ambition of claiming all the land of Gaza, the West Bank and their "supposed" buffer zone that goes into Lebanon and beyond, there may have been a chance for peace.

Let me know if you want to start at the beginning and yes no eschatology, when Christians are shown the truth and the facts they always default to well "God promised them the land to have forever" which informs me they really do not like the reality.

Christ said love your enemies.
He was quite emphatic.
And then there's all that love your neighbor as yourself business.
I seem to recall Him mentioning something about a certain satanic synagogue as well, broods of vipers, thieves and liars.

I am quite concerned with judgment, though probably not in the way you are thinking.

"In Christ"? What a strange juxtaposition. Someone can be simultaneously " In Christ" and yet fully supportive of the most bloodthirsty group of treacherous liars and thieves on the planet.

Sounds more like Baal worship to me.

You know there are real Christians in Gaza, and Lebanon? It doesn't matter does it. Support Israhell at any cost. Build Satan's temple. Sounds like a wonderful plan.
