That's a propaganda slogan, not a platform. It presupposes the country is terrible, which is antithetical to loving the country. And implying that your political rivals are seeking to destroy the country is not only a blatant lie, but also completely antithetical to improving the country - it creates hatred and division, sows violence, distrust and disunity, all things which actually destroy a nation, and none of these things are Christian values.
Absolutely! I was very political/a social justice warrior type when young, however, saw some truly rum goings on which have made me a total cynic.
Personally think if voting did any good it would be banned, much happier now i confidently look to God to sort out the mess we're in.
i suspect that anyone who truly does the things does not involve themselves with worldly political matters.

I agree, if there actually was such a candidate. If I vote, I vote for someone I believe will represent me. Lately that kind of politician is getting harder and harder to find. It's not common sense to vote for someone just for the sake of voting because it's a "duty." I call that stupidity.
No such candidates exist. You don't get to become a big shot in the political game without being wicked. They wont allow it

Good point: can you name me any candidate who intends to run the country according to the principles of the Sermon on the Mount: that is, for example: love you enemy, swear not at all, give to him that asketh thee, lay up treasures in heaven (not on earth), take no thought for tomorrow . . .???

Voting was not even an option is the ages past. Our government takes away the power of mortal kings as the absolute authority deciding the direction of the nation, but voting between the lesser of two evils will never lead one's nation to healing. A nation receives the government that it deserves, and if it has turned away from the Lord to ungodliness, the votes of the masses will not bring about healing nor prosperity. But revival will! Sadly, we're told that "in the last days, lawlessness will abound as the love of many will wax cold." And again, "except there is a falling away, the end shall not come." And once more, "The Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and the doctrines of devils."
When the tribulation comes it will begin with the house of God for it is the faithfuls responsibility to bring about godliness in a nation and in the world. Sadly, our whole generation now lives as the Laodicean Church did in the first century. Voting will never lead to the healing of an ungodly nation, whereas revival always will!

Yes it does. I quoted directly from it, and it does require that all citizens vote. What more do you want? If people choose not to vote they have failed in their civic duties and actually failed their country. When Christian refuse to vote, they basically hand over America to the evildoers. And even the Amish -- who benefit from their religious freedom in the States -- need to understand that because they RFUSE to vote, they will lose their religious freedoms. After all they are citizens and voting in good conscience is all that is needed. No one can honestly say that they cannot vote for Trump in good conscience.
More nonsense. If the Constitution -- the highest law of the land -- requires you to vote, then that settles it. Of course no one can force you to vote, except your own commitment to be a good law-abiding citizen. No wonder the lawless ones are flourishing.

A citizen definitely should vote. And vote for whomever will provide the best possible insurance that your
RIGHTS and FREEDOMS duly codified into law will be PRESERVED.
And never, ever vote for welfare from the government.
