God is not a man; but there is a man who is God.
How can you know God, then? God transcends everything you are.
If we had no words to convey thoughts? Could we know God?
A man who is also God.
For He can be a man if He so chooses to be! (Philippians 2:6-8)
And, he can be God when not needing to be as a man.
Yes, by His own blood on the cross.
He suffered the torture and pain that we deserve for those sins. He was crucified so we can choose to receive the gift of salvation/ Everlasting life that He purchased and secured when he bodily arose on the third day.
No, God can not die.
Nor did God need to die. (which would have been impossible)
Jesus, being a union of God and humanity, adjusted himself to be a man. (Philippians 2:6-8)
A man who died as the substitute for all men.
I ask you…
Can an amphibious car be a boat? Yes.
But, the boat aspect of the amphibious car in itself is not a car.

I learn about God by reading His word and try to apply it in my life.
Jesus is being the translator of God whom we can not see, and revealing God to us in "human speak."
Instead of being bilingual.
Jesus is uniquely bi-natured.
Being bi-natured he knows and can express two different natures.
One nature we can not understand as men unless he translates it for us into human terms.
No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest
relationship with the Father, has made him known.*
*He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen;
He has interpreted Him, and He has made Him known].
John 1:18
Jesus through his humanity translates God to us in "human" terms.
Presenting God in ways that we as men can and will understand.

So God came in the PERSON of the Jesus Christ which makes the Biblical definition of a person a human.
That is why we read John 1:1-2 as follows.
In the beginning was the Word [Logos], and the Word [Logos] was with God,
and the Word [Logos] was God. He was with God in the beginning.
In the beginning was the Word [Logos], and the Word [Logos] was with God,
and the Word [Logos] was God. He was with God in the beginning.
Logos means 'communication by which ideas are transmitted/transferred'.
Christ is the expresser of all bible doctrine (I Corinthians 2: 16). Logos is the concept that controls the universe . . .
Infinity . . . The supreme mover is the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is also the outward manifestation/appearance of the invisible God the Father. Logos represents the intelligence, express thought and vocabulary by which thinking species organize words into concepts, categories etc. Finally, Logos expresses Order/design/purpose.
Even before the Incarnation, the Lord God of Israel was always being two natures in union.
The Lord God of Israel was being both Deity and Soul in union.
The Incarnation simply provided a body for the Soul nature of the Lord God of Israel,l so He could make Himself to become as a man.
Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:
“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
but a body you prepared for me.
Hebrews 10:5
Jesus is being the Father in a manner that we may know the Father.
To be made to know God as God knows God? Would make a man go insane.
