It is NOT weird for a father to hug and kiss his children.
It's weird to think it's weird!
His remark was just a stupid joke and attempt to say "Look at how beautiful my daughter is". I tell my sons all the time how hansome they are.
To associate in any way, anticipating a certain response or not, Biden bathing with his daughter, to Trump hugging his daughter absolutely infers filthiness.
UNLESS, you were to bring it up and NOT say Trump's pic was weird.
Strawman. No one said "A father who kisses and hugs his children is weird". Your framing is disingenuous and it's obvious.
I agree he was joking, but I'm unclear with your answer to my question. You tell your boys how handsome they are, but you don't make weird statements like, "If I was gay and if you weren't my sons, perhaps I'd be dating you"... now DO you? You admit it's a "stupid joke", but do you think it's a weird thing to say, especially calling her "sexy" and agreeing with Stern that she "is a [nice] piece of @$$"? Emphasis on "weird".
If you agree it is in fact "weird", then when we see a teenaged Ivanka being held by Trump as if she was one of his ex-wives, can you NOW understand how it's weird?
Of course it infers filthiness... Surely you don't refute Trump's "joke" as being filthy? I know you think it was stupid, but was it not also filthy? We don't even have to bring up what Biden did as we both agree it's not a defense. My goal was to defuse that weak whataboutism defense. And if so, do you get why people get a bad taste in their mouth when looking at the picture posted earlier when we know how he has spoken of her?

Trump has his whole life said stupid and inappropriate things. MANY of which I don't like in the slightest.
I think it's stupid and inappropriate to even go on Stern.
NONE of that means that it is inappropriate or "weird" for him to have hugged his daughter and kissed her head. ESPECIALLY since he pretty much posed for the picture.
Further, the whole purpose and intent by those posting and insinuating that Trump did something wrong in that pic is to suppress the Trump Christian vote. I care about the policies that will be enacted. And it is NOT EVEN close AT ALL TIMES A BILLION between the two.
I DO NOT make these types of predictions. I talk about possibilities of things happening, but not predictions.
But I will predict that if Kamala Harris wins the White House, and the Dems win in Congress, we will lose America, and not just in an esoteric sense. I mean in a Constitutional sense.
I NEVER in the past put any stock in the "this is the most important election of our lifetime" trash.
But it ABSOLUTELY is this time. Democrat wins WILL BE the end of this nation before her term is up.

More than 200 Republicans who worked for both Bush presidents, the late Sen. John McCain and Sen. Mitt Romney declared their endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign in an open letter released Monday.
The letter comes after several Republicans who are openly critical of former President Donald Trump delivered remarks at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago last week.
In their letter, which was first reported by USA Today, the former staff members noted that they had come out against Trump during the 2020 election cycle and said they "jointly declare that we’re voting for Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz this November."
"Of course, we have plenty of honest, ideological disagreements with Vice President Harris and Gov. Walz. That’s to be expected," they wrote. "The alternative, however, is simply untenable.”
