So any regulation of business is communism? She wants to control how businesses operate
Are you an anarchist?and how the citizens live their lives.
Lets not forget the party affiliation of the worst of these Governators.People going back to work after being forced out of their job by State Governors (not Trump) is not "creating jobs" as Biden likes to say.
Some regulations are necessary to ensure fairness and safety. So any regulation of business is communism?
Does that include child labor laws? Banning the dumping of chemicals into waterways? Prosecuting fraud? Prosecuting tax evasion? Having a minimum wage?
Are you an anarchist?
Most of those jobs were jobs that were lost because of the mandatory shut-down of the economy. A lot of the other jobs were jobs in the government adding to the deficit. Also, a lot of the jobs were low-wage part-time jobs. Now, instead of having one good paying job you have to have 2 or 3 low paying jobs.As I noted, under President Biden America not only re-gained all the jobs lost under Trump, but added an additional 6+ million jobs.
Glad we agree that regulation is not communism. Some regulations are necessary to ensure fairness and safety.
No, banning of dumping of chemicals into waterways is absolutely necessary.
We've had much higher corporate tax rates than that in the past (and during Republican Presidencies) without all of that.Harris proposes to increase business tax from 21% to 28%. This will have the effect of businesses leaving the USA, resulting in massive job loss, and loss of revenue to the USA as fewer people will be paying taxes. Also, this will have an adverse effect on individuals that have a 401K. Stock market will tank and the value of holdings will greatly diminish.
Because it didn't happen. Trump lost. That's why he couldn't prove a single thing in court. There was no prosecuting of fraud in the 2020 general election for president.
It's a mixed bag. Other businesses have done very well. Ideally, we would have a situation where everyone who works a permanent full time job makes a wage that allows them to live at least a middle class life.Minimum wage may be necessary but the higher it rises the less opportunity for employment, especially for young people just starting their working lives. Look at California and see how raising the minimum wage for those in fast-food restaurants to $20 hour is working out. No way a kid barely out of school is worth that kind of wage. Many businesses have either closed their doors or greatly reduced staffing.
Good to know. Thanks! For the record I am all for child labor laws as children, at one time years ago, were severely exploited.
Not an anarchist but rather a realist.
Your estimate is exactly on target.People going back to work after being forced out of their job by State Governors (not Trump) is not "creating jobs" as Biden likes to say.
Yep, that tends to happen during pandemics. Most of those jobs were jobs that were lost because of the mandatory shut-down of the economy
That's why it's important to make sure wages match up with the cost of living.A lot of the other jobs were jobs in the government adding to the deficit. Also, a lot of the jobs were low-wage part-time jobs. Now, instead of having one good paying job you have to have 2 or 3 low paying jobs.
Q.E.D. means you proved my point. Thanks. Please stop the personal attacks. We can discuss topics without that.

Are you an Antifa-bot?Are you an anarchist?
You wage is exactly what it costs to replace you and had nothing to do with the cost of living. Biden-Harris made sure real wages are down as they haven't kept up with inflation and interest ratesYep, that tends to happen during pandemics.
That's why it's important to make sure wages match up with the cost of living.
In communism, the government controls the means of production. In fascism, the government controls the businesses that control the means of production. In capitalism, businesses control the means of production. The fact that you don't understand these basic concepts shows you really have no understanding of the politics of economies. So any regulation of business is communism?

If your point was that post-pandemic inflation was a global phenomenon, and that the US fared better than many other developed countries, then we were in agreement the whole time.Q.E.D. means you proved my point. Thanks.
In terms of full time, permanent jobs? Then we'll disagree on that. I'd prefer to work our way back to the days of my parents when a single wage earner out of high school could support a family, own a home, etc. (with a full time permanent job). You wage is exactly what it costs to replace you and had nothing to do with the cost of living.
How?Biden-Harris made sure real wages are down as they haven't kept up with inflation and interest rates
Sorry, I've no idea what in my post prompted you to post that reply. In communism, the government controls the means of production. In fascism, the government controls the businesses that control the means of production. In capitalism, businesses control the means of production. No that was your point and you were wrong as the data shows. If your point was that post-pandemic inflation was a global phenomenon, and that the US fared better than many other developed countries, then we were in agreement the whole time.![]()
I'm certain that you don't.Sorry, I've no idea what in my post prompted you to post that reply.
