Should Christians be allowed to own a gun legally?

One of my friends was accepted to an Olympic shooting team.
I asked him what is plan B if the gt forbids firearms on the islands. At the time it was legal and he had no trouble. Next thing I heard a month or two later, he was in training until the gt stole his pistol.
He was forbidden from transporting his competition firearm across the sea to islands with ranges because of a new policy.
His team folded and never participated representing the US Virgin Islands.

Lol. My friend, i also said that this was a bad joke. I made a bad joke basically, i was trying to be funny but it failed. :)

People from Canada, England, and Australia I have had contact with highly respect the fact that we have a second amendment.
Many also regret today not having one of their own....

You think Jesus waved a magic wand, and evil has simply ceased?
The restraining power of the right to bear arms creates for some the illusion of evil having ceased..

You should loosen your necktie and take off your suspenders, change out of your pajamas, come up out of the basement, walk outside and get some fresh air. He's yanking your chain. @Eli1 doesn't own guns, but he's OK with me driving my tank.

Pretty sure Joe isn't Jewish. But if he hadn't gotten out of the race he might have eventually become Jewish. After all, he was Greek, Italian, Irish, and black at different points in his life.

Living by the sword today would translate to mean someone living a life of crime, like the Mafia.
They make their living that way.

Jesus was telling Peter to stop acting like a law breaker.
Nothing about owning or carrying a weapon.

How do we know?


“Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him,
“for all who draw the sword will die by the sword." Mat 26:52


Did you notice?
Peter kept his sword.

Not only that.
Jesus did not tell Peter to get rid of it!

But, Jesus told Peter to KEEP IT!
