The term "brutal" has been applied to me more than once, now that you mention it:whistle: I obviously need a lot more work in this area. That is, unless I've this way for a purpose of leading an army to rid the world of hostile ravenous alien invaders. Then, that trait would be much appreciated, or so I would think.

Winston has inspired me as I go forward into the next week's topic of study, a table prepared in the presence of enemies.
Funny you should mention this.

A while back, we actually had a thread about who we would pick as team mates and which ones would have the best chances for survival in the event of a Zombie Apocalypse (which isn't exactly aliens, but I think it might be close enough to count.)

The landscape of the forum, as well as the crowd here has changed a lot -- and shows such as "The Walk Dead" were prevalent back when this was written -- but if we have another remake of this thread, I will definitely keep you in mind.

As @Cameron143 would say (via The Pillow Fighting thread,) you would definitely be a "high draft pick."

I’m a bad influence because we have the most beautiful little girl who is smart and funny. Aaaaaand is very much a toddler now. Idk how many times I’m saying her full name on the daily 🫠😂

@tourist is obviously a bad influence because the whole time he's been here, he's always tried to see the good in everyone, even the trolls!!

He also transitioned from being single to married while on the forum and yet STILL comes here to encourage and uplift us, rather than putting us down or saying we somehow have to be married.

A VERY bad influence indeed!!!
I'm thinking that I'm bad to the bone. :)

You've been truly blessed by God with a wonderful husband, and a precious little daughter.

(I know it's really not the point of Proverbs 22:1 but)
I think this might be why scripture says a good name should be chosen over great riches :LOL:
because parents will be saying it a million times a day for at least 18 years.

And wouldn't you know, years ago I did post in the BDF every once in a while. I wrote a thread about the verse telling us to "store up riches in heaven," and asked what people thought those "riches" would consist of. No one actually answered, but just kept regurgitating the same verse back -- which could be expected, as the Bible doens't really expound on this point.

But I was curious to see if there would be any kind of wild speculation as we see about... other topics.
Hmm? I remember that thread.

That's one of my favorite verses, y'see.

But how do I remember it if the thread was in an area I avoid?

This had me rolling -- and I'm not even a parent!

Yeah, I know that even as an adult, if my mom takes the time to shout my entire first and middle names, it's pretty much:

As you would say, Lynx:

Zombie Thread back from the graaaaaaaaaaaave!

(Just in case you were curious.)

Biscuits and gravy -- this was written in 2011??? I don't even remember 2011!! Hopefully one of the "riches" I am earning is a better memory of what I do with my time (yes, I know time will be irrelevant in heaven... I'm just saying...)

Yeah but I swear you did the same thread in singles or something.

Or maybe it came up in a thread about something else?

That could very well be... I've written... uh, quite a few things here so it's hard for me to keep track! :D

I'm re-reading the Zombie Apocalypse thread and man, I have to to hand it to you.

You had SKILLZ in that thread!!! I mean, you were setting out scenarios, goals, and exactly why you would pick certain team members as if you were 5-star General.:ROFL::ROFL:

Keep that on standby because I'm tinkering with some ways of how to revamp that thread for our 2024 audience.

We're going to have to upgrade our estimation of seoul a bit. Her new avatar is a definite improvement.

Trolls are high entertainment though, until the time that they are eventually banned. There use to be a banning thread in the Singles. That was a high entertainment venue for sure. :)
You're right, I don't mind taking up the gauntlet laid down to accept a duel😂 When some unknown character says that I love Satan bc I display the Nativity scene....it's on. I like a good challenge once in a while, gotta keep ready for the troll zone, lol.

She’s 20 months and knows her full name 😂😂 but not because I keep calling it. We taught it to her early on lol.

I was scrolling through the forum today and thinking about all the times @Magenta's Scripture art panels have lifted my spirits.

My parents and I have polar opposite tastes in color, and I often joke, "Have you heard of '50 Shades of Gray?' Well, my parents decorate in 50 Shades of Beige!" In any color scheme they might plan out, it's guaranteed the main themes will be mustard yellow, rust orange, and "wet sand" brown.

Now surely all colors God made are beautiful in their own right, but I have always been drawn to bright, eye-popping color (someone in my keep-in-touch group even calls them "garish" just to mess with me! :D)

But I'm also one of those people who can be very sensitive to color, and there have been numerous times when @Magenta's creativity inspires me to think in a more positive direction.

Really???!!!

Influencing people through art, color, and creativity???

Even Michelangelo would surely agree that this is a bad influence!!

I guess management didn’t approve. Well, that’s life lol.
I would post a lot in BDF if all I wanted to do was irritate people. But there is no profit in that, and I cannot think of anything I can say in that crowd that would do any good. So I don't post there. Que bono?

They are in dire need of some realism.😂

But I do understand that management will avoid mayhem in BDF caused by irresponsible members lol.
