Some men in a pickup truck drove into a lumberyard. One of the men walked in the office and says, "We need some four-by-twos."
The clerk replies, "You mean two-by-fours, don't you?"
The guy scratches his head and says, "I'll go check," and goes back to the truck.
He returns and says, "Yeah, I meant two-by-four."
"All right. How long do you need them?"
The guy pauses for a minute and says, "I better go check." After a while, he returns to the office and says, "A long time. We're gonna build a house."

This diving they're doing is all very well, but there should be an event for normal people called Synchronised Stepping Slowly Into the Pool going 'ooh' and then

I understand now why God says it's not good for man to be alone in Genesis, if a man is alone too long he looses his mind and sanity, God created women to help men keep their sanity.
Well, my husband does misplace things a lot and I'm always there to help him find things.

a few years ago, my husband was at work and cut the back of his hand with a putty knife. it bled a lot, and his middle finger hung useless as he had severed a tendon. what did he do? wrapped it in paper towels and duct tape and finished the day's work!
when he got home, i looked at it and said, we have to go to the hospital. he asked why (
).i said, you'll never regain the use of that finger if you don't see a surgeon. he calmly replied, "nah, i'll just tape it to the other fingers; it'll be fine."
need i say we went to the ED, he saw a hand surgeon, and his finger works almost as well is it had?
