It may be that Biden's family has been advising him to run.....because doing so may prevent the lot of them from ending up in the slammer sooner rather than later. I would suggest that this is the reason for his recalcitrance.

Barack Obama has told allies that Biden’s path to victory has greatly diminished and the president needs to seriously consider the viability of his candidacy. The people who say Trump is a threat to democracy are about to throw out the votes cast for Biden in the Democratic Primary. Because they don't think he can win.

Oh yes.....couple of other things:
-he is not a CIA asset

-he is not selling his office to any and all interested parties
-he is not starting bogus wars
-his family is not full of pedos and drug addicts

Stuff like that counts you know.

And don't get me wrong.....I have pretty much zero faith in politics and politicians. Things and people can go sour in a heartbeat. And do. Often.

Did you watch Donald Trump speak to the Republican convention last night? You owed it to yourself as a citizen. The speech was outstanding, sincere, and made it clear to everyone that after he survived the assassination attempt, he was more than ever determined to make America Great Again. Along with J. D. Vance. He gave Almighty God the glory for saving his life. I did and was very touched by his telling the story of the shooting, it seems to have had a profound impact on him, he gave all credit to his still being alive to the grace of God, and he was very moved by the love and compassion of the crowd at the rally. His tone seems to have dramatically changed. The resolve is still there, the consecration is real, but the braggadocio appeared muted or gone.
