The internal polling is actually far worse for them than what they admit to here. Since the debates New Jersey, New Mexico, Minnesota, and New York, all of which are typically very blue have become toss-up states. I can only imagine since the attempted assassination that Trump's lead has only gotten bigger.

This guy has been doing pretty good analysis and coverage of the polling for months. Granted these are just opinion polls which should always be taken with a grain of salt, but nevertheless the propaganda of the past few months that have been trying to portray the race as close have just been bald-faced lies, Biden has been down both before the debate and especially after it.

They could have hurled stones at him and perhaps prevented the incident.

Thought the same thing. People are too paralyzed. Take down a psycho on a train and spend the next years in courts. It's upside down and backwards. There's a whole ideology that needs to be changed now.

They had better take care to minimize election fraud/rigging. That may be the biggest factor in this election.

Could be a landslide.

Ah you beat me to it just as I was typing it out! I was also going to say in regards to your last reply that Trump has been winning so big in the opinion polling that it might be unriggable, though of course we should never put anything past the left after all the stuff they've done in the past few years. This then makes sense why they have resorted to more Machiavellian type politics in the past month in regards to trying to replace Biden, getting way more belligerent and desperate in their messaging, and of course the whole matter of the assassination attempt on Trump.

Not an endorsement of any theory as to what happened.

They caught him with a range finder 3 hours before the shooting and did nothing. They spotted him 30 minutes before the shooting and did nothing. They took a literal picture of him and did nothing. Members of the crowd were pointing at him and did nothing. They left the most obvious assassination point in the world completely unsecured. At what point does "incompetence" stop being the explanation for why Trump was nearly killed.

And then there was that ladder that was just so conveniently placed at the one building that they did not secure sticking out like the sorest thumb in the world. I am surprised not more people from either side are taking note of that ladder, like that is the most sus thing I have seen since the sus dog meme.

And some idiot put a sad emoji on your post. This is fantastic news, since Musk was hanging back for a long time. Bill Ackman is also supporting Trump.
That "idiot" is @TrumpKetchupAss, they just popped up on this site after the attempted assassination on Trump.

They would have acted sooner but Trump hadn't been shot yet.

I don't understand, a week ago he seemed very confident despite all the calls for him to step down, he said he just had a bad day with the debate, was tired. Last week I didn't understand why he was so confident, why did he think "putting Trump in the bullseye" would make a difference, the guy thrives in the spotlight, and now he admits he made a mistake and will need to step aside? What about his strategy of putting Trump in the Bulls Eye, shouldn't they at least give that a chance?

Maybe the "bullseye" contingency plan was the last Trump card he had left to play?
