I recall we loaded up a bunch from our church before the last election and went to the capitol. Other churches were there. A few pastors spoke then prayer. Then we all just circled the building quietly continuing to pray. Never experienced anything like it. Suddenly people began to gather and put their hands on the building, praying against abortion. I remember thinking that Roe was so solid that it would take a miracle to overturn it. Oddly enough I was just remembering this fact the other day. Christians need to figure where they stand on this issue.

That is good to read, often where I live the majority are Catholics which is fine but they could use support.
Agree there!! I don't live in a place where there are many Catholics, but the churches are pretty good at getting together here. They opened their churches for prayer meetings, each church would host a different night up till the election. People would simply come in and pray and leave when they were done. It was well attended surprisingly.

We all know there has been nothing close to "normalcy" in the USA and world for 4 yrs now.
I was thinking about this Presidential debate happening tomorrow, and it struck me how incredibly early this was happening in the campaigns.
BEFORE even the party's conventions.
So I looked it up, and sure enough, this debate is almost 3 MONTHS earlier than the earliest ever recorded Presidential Debate.
Abnormality now seems normal in these twisted times we live.
But it does beg the question as to why? Speculate away!
Oh, BTW, their 2nd debate on Sept 10th will be the SECOND earliest debate ever!

According to RUMOR, this is a Litmus Test to see how Grandpa Joe does against Trump before he recuses himself and someone new steps in as Candidate. Anyone younger will be the death of Trump because the younger generations are pulling away from Biden. But someone younger and the youth + Black vote they're losing will return.
If they switch there's no way Trump has a chance.
The only way they can switch is to have Kammy, and that ain't gonna float, she's lower in the polls than Biden.
I guess Christians need to make up their mind whether they want a theocracy or they do not. Seems to switch with the wind.

it seems we can only have a theocracy in our personal lives since the Israelites were the only ones offered a theocracy...which they rejected
when I read of the founding of this country, it seems to be somewhat of an exaggeration to say it was founded on biblical principals

I might add, why should we expect ANY candidate to follow biblical principals? frankly, I disagree with the concept. some of the 'Christian' women in the government exhibit anything but 'Christian' behavior.

My family saw this happening back in the 1970s. My dad was with UPI, they were going to buy a small news outfit in Florida which was a front for the CIA. My dad nixed the sale and was called into George Bush's office where he was told how good it would be for his career if he would just ignore the sale. My dad told him if he allowed UPI to buy this company that is a front for the CIA what would stop Russia from arresting his reporters as spies? He told Bush no and so had to leave UPI and went to NY Times. At the NY Times they were running a very big expose on the JFK assassination, basically running the whole Mafia misdirection for the CIA and muddy the water. My dad objected and so had to leave NY Times (they had a small blurb on the front page about differences of opinions on business practices).
You said "now considering" but Trump first shifted to the 15weeks(3 weeks shy of mid term of pregnancy),, way back when all the others(DeSantis,Haley,Christie,Pence ect.) were trying to get the GOP nomination. What happened is DeSantis was saying he thought the magic number should be 6 weeks,,,Trump then said they couldn't win that way and began pushing the 15 weeks.
