yes, definitely, you can lose your salvation. And here are the scriptures that prove it:
EXODUS 32:33-“The Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me, I will BLOT HIM OUT OF MY BOOK.”
REVELATION 3:5- Whoever overcomes (sin), “ …I will not blot out his name from the book of life.”
Galations 5:4-“ …you are FALLEN FROM GRACE.”
2 JOHN 1:8-“ Look to yourself, that we do not LOSE those things we worked for.”
1 CORINTHUABS 10:12- “Let him who thinks he stands, take heed lest he FALL”
HEBREWS 6:4-6- For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have BECOME PARTAKERS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, and have tasted the good word of God…IF THEY FALL AWAY to renew them again to repentance…”
HEBREWS 10:35- “therefore do not CAST AWAY your confidence…so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
Verse 38- “but IF anyone DRAWS BACK, my soul has no pleasure in him.”
HEBREWS 12:15- “…lest ANYONE FALL SHORT. Of the grace of God…and by this many become defiled.”
HEBREWS 2:1- Therefore we must give the earnest heed to the things we have heard, LEST WE DRIFT AWAY.”
HEBREWS 4:11- “Let us be diligent to enter that rest, lest SOMEONE FALL according to the same example of disobedience.”
Romans 11:22- “…consider the goodness and the severity of God. On those who fell, severity. But toward you goodness IF YOU CONTINUE IN HIS GOODNESS. Otherwise you also WILL BE CUT OFF!”
Read the example of Simon the sorcerer in Acts 8:9-24. He had become a Christian in verse 13. Then he sinned. Peter told him to REPENT and PRAY for forgiveness. The Bible is true and God does not show partiality. If that is what Simon needed to do , then that is what WE need to do when we sin after becoming a Christian. We can trust God’s word.
Nope, not one of these states someone who was truly saved, then had God revoked the offer. Not one. Not even the "tasted" verse. None of these specifically state that one who was saved in truth lost it, yet there are MANY that specifically and precisely state it CAN'T be lost. Do we just ignore those? Or do we find a way to harmonize ALL of Gods word?

Again I do not understand the fight to make our God so weak and confused that His power can be walked away from, and suggesting God just saves the wrong people sometimes. What a flawed and stupid God, granting pointless pre-salvations. You teach a works based salvation. What you are saying is that when we are born again this is just God giving us a "shot" at salvation. That we are born again and then the full weight of our salvation is dropped on our shoulders and all up to us now. We now have to behave "good enough" to warrant the "free gift" dangled in front of us. I'm sorry brother but what you're teaching is not true, it's not Truth, it's a false gospel that turns people away. I am asking you to stop with this nonsense.

I have no earthly idea of what you are talking about.
The person or people you are saying can lose salvation. Is what I am talking about
People say they are in and are not in

Matthew 7:23
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

You, unfortunately are working iniquity over glorying in it
You beleive you can lose salvation right? Not from God. If God gives it, one will willingly learn new from Gos and see new from God and will not leave such an amazing salvation, given them, even if ar win troubles presently, leader on or have been in them. Hope you get what is said now, thanks

right, once born again, always born again. it's a 1 time deal.
You won a chicken dinner, God does it and reveals it in God's timing for each person. I see when went through adversities (Not that I will not go through anymore) I would not deny God, and to this day it is another good day to die and be content in the day, whether or not I live or die here on earth. I am the Lord's by the Lord. only those born again by God see this truth and remain humble in it
No more under Law, living now above our circumstances, being content in good or bad that happens to us all. That is learned from being born again by God and all changes as one sees they have passed from death to life in humility of the risen Son for them

here is a question for those who think they can lose salvation: since 1st John 5:13 teaches, "these things have we written unto you that believe on the name of the son of God, "that you may KNOW you have eternal life & that you may believe on the name of the son of God", how come there isn't a verse that says, "that you may THINK you have eternal salvation" or, 'that you may WONDER you have eternal salvation" or, even, "these things have we written unto you that believe on the name of the son of God, that you may LOSE salvation"?

Listen, did you hear that? No! stand still, drown out all things, stop, cede and be patient, then you will hear that still, small voice and you will know truth that set you free, in love to all in the same mercy and truth given you by Father of risen Son Jesus for you too. How? Be still, take everything to God in trust to God, who knows and will tell you, once you do not give up on belief over this world we are in.

This world of flesh says, show me God and I will believe you.
God replies, trust me and I will show you. Yet will you last through all that Job did in the book of Job and not deny me in his adversities?
Even deeper unto willing death, to be raised also

Whether, we live or die, we are the Lord's by his love and mercy to respond to thanksgiving and praise and not get or be taken for granted and harm others ever again
Stand up, willingly to God all in all, Contentment in all whether it be bad or good right now, presently

Thanks for those verses

Because God is the only one that saves anyone. Once anyone goes through it all without denial to God all the way. God sees this in each and then reveals it to them, otherwise, it is 'I" never knew you
The motive behind any and every operation is what Father knows and so goes, for one to get, the other to seem to get and not get, because why

James 4:3
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

And yes, I in past was guilty of that also. I see to be like that tax collector, not the Pharisee in

You see, they are not fair you see the Pharisee

Luke 18:9-14

Authorized (King James) Version

9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: 10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. 13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

You go on with your bad self and get more reconciliation given us by God to us through Son (2 Cor 5:17-20)
( John 19:30, Matthew 5:17, Hebrews 9:14-17)
God is good, the only one good, and with man to get saved I tis impossible as said in Matthew 19.
"With man it is impossible, yet with God it is possible". What do you think he was saying to the Disciples then and there.
Was he saying he was about to go to that cross for us and die once for us all to be reconciled, which is forgiven, just no new life given yet, just reconciled. Then we ask God personally for the risen Life of Son to lead us. God who knows every persons motive, gives this new life to them or not

All I can say is, stop asking for this new life amiss

James 4:3
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

You know I do not know, I trust God, who knows, thank you and have a blessed day

with respect, i say to you, you are doing a lot of mixing & crossing of verses & meanings. it doesn't make sense that you can never know you"re saved. 1 verse does it alone: 1st John 5:13! once saved always saved is what God teaches. quite simply, if you can lose salvation, when will you get it back? what if someone is close to passing in a hospital bed & you think you are unsaved?
It’s hard for me to understand how I am “mixing and crossing verses and meanings “ when I am only QUOTING SCRIPTURE. It’s not for us to second guess God. He said His ways are NOT your ways.

When God spoke to Moses and said, “I will blot him out of my book.” That seems pretty plain to me. You can argue with God about it if you want to; or you can simply chose not to believe what He says, you don’t have to understand it— you just have to believe His word. I gave you 12 scriptures to consider. Besides the one in Exodus He says you can FALL FROM GRACE, He says be careful lest you fall,

He says you can FALL FROM GRACE
To fall from grace is to fall from God's sphere of power. It does not mean that one dies spiritually again which, is what must happen for one to lose their salvation. We have been saved from death. Where there is no grace, there is no power.

  • Acts 4:33
And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.

  • 2 Corinthians 12:9
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

  • Ephesians 3:7
of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.

To fall from grace is to fall from God's sphere of power
How does one fall from God's sphere of power except by denying the truth.? Even then they don't fall from his power, they simply reap what they sow.

How do you sin? Is God's power not strong enough to prevent you from sinning and yet we still sin even after we are saved.
When you walk according to the flesh you have fallen from God's sphere of power.

Sin is either the result of ignorance or enmity.

If a soul sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them comes to his knowledge concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him.

But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him. Num 15:29-31

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, Heb 10:26
Is God's power not strong enough to prevent you from sinning and yet we still sin even after we are saved.
Jesus came to call the sinners, not the righteous, to repentance.

Nicodemus understood.

Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”
John 3:9 “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.

10“You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and you do not understand these things?"

Jesus came to call the sinners, not the righteous, to repentance.
So all the saints who Paul had to reprimand for their sin (ie. Corinth, Galatia etc) had lost their salvation? What you have said has nothing to do with what I said.

If you are walking by the power of the Spirit (abiding in Christ), you can't sin because God's power upholds you. You must make the choice to sin, either willfully or out of your ignorance, to actually sin. Then you are walking according to the flesh and you have fallen from grace and are outside God's influence of power.

1 John 3:6
Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

Being filled with the Spirit is a command because we can refuse His leading unlike the indwelling of the Spirit which is something God does automatically at salvation.

the meaning of each verse you list doesn't apply to OSAS. on the front, they may sound like they apply but they don't. ask the H.S. about the salvation issue with 2nd Timothy 2:7 & 15 in mind as well as 1st John 5:13. in time, you'll understand, hopefully soon, that OSAS is true.. how can a Christian live happy & joyful not knowing he or she is eternally saved? people living with that belief are quite unhappy & they don't know it. i'll listen to your last response on this & then i'm moving on. i do wish you a joy filled life along with all of God's blessings for you.
