Thanks for the call sister, but I actually didn't feel written off. In fact I sense that the said SteveEpperson is trying to be humorous in a way that implies a broken heart. Just my feeling. In any case he most assuredly won't make any friends with that 'attitude' and more than likely doesn't need any at all to heal his wounds.
Yes, you come to his rescue, sister! While you're at it, ask him out, since he's not man enough to ask you.:sneaky: Wouldn't that be precious? Two princesses on a date having a tea party together!:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:
Of course he wouldn't ask me out.

He's a married man -- why did that not sink in when you read my original post?

And no, I've never had a problem asking out a guy I was interested in.

But I make sure they're not attached to anyone first (whether married, in a relationship, or dating several other women at once.)

Could have fooled me.

Yeah, but most on this forum act like 13-year-olds who snuck outa the house to get on this site.

Oh yes, another derailing tactic to discredit me. Accusing me of "needing prayer" because I'm so broken and wayward. Oh, you lOVELY PEOPLE! What wonderful "Christians" you both are.:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:
Seriously Steve, ease back a little.

I know that many people make like the 'doctor' in emotional gravity and end up sounding and looking like teenagers because they gravitate to the most likely source of comfort. It may always turn out to be flimsy comfort when you realise that you have simply gravitated to yourself and your own feelings. Distressed or not, mature or not there is a reality to knowing who people are in Christ or in life. Wouldn't you want that so that you can at least make your case more convincingly?

@Subhumanoidal has been here a long time, maybe even longer than me (15 years,) and is quite a staple around here.
Oh yes, of course, that means he's:

--vitriolic
--immature
--prideful
--arrogant
--opinionated
--seeks approval online
--addicted to trolling sites like this one

Yeah, that about sums up all the other "staples" around here as well.:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

No. Unlike you, I do not need approval from people in cyberspace.

I get my approval from my very real God, my real family, my male friends, and finally, from the real, offline women I date.

So, if you'll excuse me, I have to go to my real church, where I will converse with real people in a real building and maybe get another phone number from a real woman.

Peace!

I wonder how many of those church women he dates at the same time.

Just ask my friends and family, I am definitely not the princess type.

If this is what you think of everyone here...

Why are you here?

I'm genuinely curious.

From your posts, you seem to feel as if you have something very valuable to share. Most people who think they are carrying a treasure trove of knowledge within don't want to waste it on a group of people they see as being below them.

Why keep posting to an audience you see as being so unworthy when you're so far ahead of everyone else?

I've also asked why, if your methods are foolproof, you didn't make your own happily ever after with your son's mother -- but you never answered.

I understand that it might be too personal to talk about.

But I don't understand why you keep presenting your tactics as infallible when they didn't work for you.

So rather than antagonise (even though it surely does feel good to antagonise) why not support a notional position and allow yourself a space to reflect.

NO Seriously. So here is the way to do that British style.

I did with all my wroth fierce gaze at him,
Until he knew I was on a course to his layer.
Thus when that famed devil did see me all immature,
And vexed by his presence, seeming weak,
He rushed to my side and snorted his indignation.
I gained my flight away from him and knew my course so well.
Now at the other side of the river Euphrates,
The raging torrent beneath me, I stand defiant,
And claim with utter confidence,
I will not see you on the other side again.

For Steve Epperson

Yes, because God clearly teaches us that this is what we're supposed to do and how we honor Him in our lives -- by collecting as many phone numbers and racking up as many dates as possible -- especially all at once.

It all makes sense now.

Well horse crap. This just totally wrecks my plans. If he DOESN'T have seoulsearch on ignore, we can't have that secret coversation right here in his own thread.

I guess it's just as well she didn't relay that owl poll.

I could be wrong, but I do think he has me on Ignore -- it's just that someone he didn't have on Ignore, but I'm sure is on his Ignore list now -- happened to quote one of my posts, and that's the only reason he was able to read it.

I don't think you can see ignored people's posts, even if someone else quoted them.

That's hearsay though... I don't have anyone on ignore so I can't factcheck that.

You see pretty much nothing from people you ignore. Not their posts, not threads they start, not when someone quotes them. All you see is a tiny link at the bottom of the page saying something like show ignored content.

Hmmm. Gotta wonder why someone who doesn't need our approval feels the need to emphasize to us how great his real life is. Seems with most people the more rich and fulfilling their offline life is the less they feel the need to come online and talk about it.

Also for the record, tea parties are great and I know the best place to go for afternoon tea.

Depends... What kind of tea are they serving?

Here in west Tennessee the best we can hope for is tetley. That is NOT real tea.

I missed out on a lot while I was at fellowship!

@SteveEpperson, may I ask how old you are? If you mentioned it in any of the threads, I apologize. I visit CC in waves because my toddler keeps me busy lol.
