[REVELATION 13:8 NASB20] 8 All who live on the earth will worship him, [everyone] whose name has not BEEN WRITTEN SINCE THE FOUNDATION of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slaughtered.

SOVEREIGN GRACE IS LITERALLY ON EVERY PAGE OF SCRIPTURE.....in the end it doesnt matter.....IF YOU ARE SAVED YOU ARE SAVED...but comparison of scripture to scripture shows the complete knowledge and choosing of those whom are called the ELECT.....

I've been on both sides of the debate, Armenian & sovereignty... I AM FIRMLY FOUNDED ON SOVEREIGN ELECTION .

so, this is my last post on the subject.
THE BATTLE RAGES TIL THE LION ROARS!!
Clarence
Good day Clarence.

You know so many lessons have been learned over the years concerning church doctrine, and so many church doctrines have caused a lot of controversy, This belief you post is one of them

Sovereign election is also called unconditional election, which is mainly something believed to be a fundamental belief of calvinism.

Relating to God predestinating only some people prior to the fall of man.

Man was already predestined to live with God in his garden prior to the fall.

What was predestined came after the fall

But what was predestined was man would have the ability to be accepted by doing what was right, by God pre warning everybody.

And scripture clearly suggests man prior to the fall, from genesis 2 to to genesis 3, that God had man living in present time with him, and he did not know what man would do next until after the fall, when he had made man live in past time.
So he could prewarn you. To give you the chance to change your destiny, so that you could do what is right. 😊

Since your profile says Jan 2023 is it safe to say you were here under a different Screen name?

And if so, would it be terrible of me to ask who?

God does not love sinners. As a matter of fact, God is angry with the wicked every day. If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready. He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors. And his mercy endureth for ever. And so, in his mercy, he commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

This is love. And charity rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.

Jean Calvin said theese words

God divinely sows a seed in everyone 😊

It's difficult to understand sometimes
.
But not when another life is saved from oblivion..

A prayer before leaving from the church fathers ..

In loving memory of Jean Calvin died 1564 ..

No. That is not the reason why God loves both sinners and saints. It is because God is love that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit love mankind (with all its sin and wickedness). And God wants to save all mankind so that sinners become saints.
