does it distinguish between true believers and untrue believers in that verse ? Why not look for the verses that talk about the distinction ?
Like if you want only one verse that does make some sort of distinction between true belief and saying I believe
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew 7:21 KJV
There’s a distinction it seems between two groups of sincere and insincere believers all are calling him lord but only some are doing his Will
“Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”
James 1:21-22
maybe sincerity of belief comes out through actions
“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.”
1 John 3:16-19
Gods love requires action
“By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”
1 John 5:2-3
if I believe something my actions are going to follow

“
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but
he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew 7:21 KJV
Doing the will of the Father will have an everlasting life (Enter into the Kingdom of God)
This is what Jesus did in his times.
MATTHEW 5:17
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets:
I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Therefore: Believing to Jesus is to follow how Jesus fulfilled the law.
1 PETER 2:21
21 For even hereunto were ye called: because
Christ also suffered for us,
leaving us an example, that
ye should follow his steps:
No one else in this world can reveal how Jesus followed the law but Jesus alone.
Perhaps people ask, how Jesus reveal where he is no longer in this world?
That is what people think.
But truly, Jesus is in this world.
Let us not forget what he said:
MATTHEW 24:35
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but
my words shall not pass away.
In the New Testament, Jesus can be seen and touched him, even in our times we can because in our times Jesus is:
REVELATION 19:13
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and
his name is called
The Word of God.
HEBREWS 10:7
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (
in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
Because there is only 1 book where Jesus is written.
Yes, Jesus is the Holy Bible (can be seen and touched). By reading the bible is same as when listening to Jesus.
Question: Can Jesus do reveal how he followed or fulfilled the law even he is not existing in this world?
Jesus did it once to Paul, As we know Jesus and Paul never meet face to face because when Jesus elected Paul as replacement of Judas Iscariot, Jesus was no longer in this world.
GALATIANS 1:11-12
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is
not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by
the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Therefore: If Jesus did it to Paul then Jesus can still do it in our times.
