I want any Reformed doctrine follower to show me where it says the Natural Man cannot HEAR

14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
You want? Pushy aren't you? I'll answer your question if you answer mine that I presented to you in my 1542. Do we have a deal?

And by the way, it would be courteous and considerate of you to provide the complete addresses to your quotes.

What's interesting, it almost appears that everyone's name is in the Book and then there's reasons to be blotted out.
Which would mean God died for everyone, all humans and they have a chance at Eternal Life until they remove themselves from the Book of Life.

But the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me, I will blot out of my book.

Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, And not be written with the righteous.

and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life

Also appears only names not ever written in the Book of life are those who will take the Mark of the Beast and worship it

All who dwell on the earth will worship him (the Beast), whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

This alone proves the Reformed doctrine to be false

Geesh...you excel in leaving low hanging fruit out there and then boast that you have single-handedly vanquished all Five Doctrines of Grace. Talk about wishful thinking! Read and weep!

https://www.gotquestions.org/book-of-life.html

P.S. Even in the immediate context of Ex 32-33, the next two verses give us a very strong indication of what kind of book was being talked about (see vv. 34-35). And this harmonizes with the interpretation provided in the link above.

According to the Bible, only people NEVER added to the Book of Life are those who will worship the Beast. And that doesn't happen until the future from now.

Also according to the Bible, people get blotted out. To be blotted out means you have to be in it first.

Do the Mathematics.

The Bible is absolute TRUTH. No reason to ignore it over a doctrine. It's God's Word, not some interpretation.

Weak argument. Anemic in fact. From the very beginning, there have been two kinds of people in this world: The godly seed of the woman and the ungodly seed of the devil (Gen 3:15), who himself is portrayed in scripture as a beast (Rev 13:1)! Therefore, by extension there has only been two kinds of worshipers in this world: The true godly worshipers of their heavenly Father YHWH and the ungodly worshipers of their father the devil (Jn 8:44). Therefore, from the very beginning all the non-elect, i.e. all those elected unto reprobation (by implication) have never been in the book of life.

You didn't even read the link I sent, did you? The book of the living in the OT and the Lamb's Book/Book of Life in the NT are not the same thing, as the article explained.

You cant hear the Gospel Spiritually without being born again, regenerated. Faith is fruit of the Spirit Gal 5:22

Jesus tells us who hears the words of God Jn 8:47 and some cant

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

The much better question is: Why are you changing the meaning!? Why do you ignore contexts? Why do you automatically assume that the "book of life" and the "book of the living" are one and the same books? Why haven't you performed an inductive study to get to the truth?

Read the link I sent you. It explains the book of the living in the OT, which is not the same as the book of life in the New. David essentially prayed that his ungodly, unrighteous enemies be cut off from the "land of the living" (Job 28:13; Ps 52:5, 116:9, etc.) The "land of the living" is on this side of death here on earth -- before we physically die. David was actually calling for the physical death of his enemies. He is asking God to blot his enemies' names out of the book of the living by their physical death.

And you didn't even take my advice and read the larger context of Ex 32:32-33, did you? You really do believe that you have a mortal lock on spiritual truth -- that you have it all down pat, don't you? If you read the larger context of the passage as I exhorted you, you would have learned that physical death is in view in that passage as well!

Ex 32:32-35
32 But now, please forgive their sin — but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written."

33 The LORD replied to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book. 34 Now go, lead the people to the place I spoke of, and my angel will go before you. However, when the time comes for me to punish, I will punish them for their sin."

35 And the LORD struck the people with a plague because of what they did with the calf Aaron had made.

NIV

In v.32, Moses is not asking God to blot his name out of the book of life, as you suppose. He's not asking God to condemn him spiritually for eternity. Rather, Moses was willing to intercede for sinful Israelites and take the physical punishment that was due for their sins. He was willing to actually sacrifice himself physically in their place.

In vv.33-34, however, God rejects Moses' request and clearly tells him that He will blot those who sinned against him our of his book -- "I will punish them for their sin".

Then in v.35, it tells us that this is precisely what God did. He struck the sinful people with a great plague and tens of thousands died physically -- in fact an entire generation was not permitted to remain in "the land of the living" so that they could cross over to the Promised Land (cp. Hebrews 3).

And I have no idea what you're trying to ask in your first sentence.

I haven't changed a thing.
What John wrote in Revelation about those who were not written who serve the Beast come from God.

Moses and David wrote these:
Even king David asked God to have them removed "Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, And not be written with the righteous."

And God told Moses how people get blotted out of the Book of Life "But the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me, I will blot out of my book."

If you do not understand it does not shock me one bit seeing how the Reformed do things.

God even said, those who add to/remove from the Bible get BLOTTED OUT.

Enjoy!

Okay, let's look at this sensibly...

a) Adam sinned, therefore all inherited his sin
b) The OT law as given to make people aware of their sinful state
c) It was/is impossible for anyone to keep the law perfectly, so all are guilty of sin
d) Sacrifices were made to pay the penalty for sins committed, but they couldn't remove the sin from the person
e) Jesus Christ was sacrificed as the penalty for all sin (sins committed by anyone, ever)
f) => Sin is not counted against anyone if they accept Jesus' sacrifice on her/his behalf <=
g) If a person doesn't accept Jesus' sacrifice on her/his behalf, then s/he is still guilty of sin

If anyone disagrees with this, then they simply do not understand the New Covenant

Why would anyone say the Book of the Living and the Book of Life are not the same.

1. we are alive who is participating in this thread.
2. if you get blotted out you're still alive and participating in this thread.
3. it clearly is speaking about Eternal Life and being blotted out

Clearly they're both the same Book.

Clearly, NO ONE is blotted out until they don't ask for forgiveness like Moses alludes to in verse 32.

They die without asking for forgiveness of sins you go to Hell.

Wow! You wanted an example and Mr. Bright graciously provided you with one and so what do you do? You move the goal posts! The example isn't any good because it pertains to the Jews, as though the Gentiles put their pants on differently from the Jews!? The last I checked in scripture, unbelieving Gentiles are just as DEAD in their sins as unbelieving Jews are! Since that is the biblical case, then how can either group hear (understand) spiritual truth? Yes, it is true that God has hardened the Jews' hearts, but Gentiles also come into this world with naturally hardened hearts. In fact, Jesus in John 8 goes on to tell the Pharisees (who he was addressing) that not only did they not belong to God, but their real spiritual daddy was the devil himself! And now you're going to have us believe that the devil is only the father of unbelieving Jews!? I mean... I sorta, vaguely recall that it is written somewhere that Satan "has blinded the minds of all unbelievers so that they cannot see (understand) the light of the gospel".

Also, you conveniently overlook the fact that national Israel historically has had this longstanding, perennial spiritual problem that has plagued them. It's called APOSTASY!

Acts 7:51-53
51 "You stiff-necked people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are just like your fathers: You always resist the Holy Spirit! 52 Was there ever a prophet your fathers did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him— 53 you who have received the law that was put into effect through angels but have not obeyed it."
NIV

The Rom 11 text you quoted bears this truth out. Their hearts have been hardeend for ages! May I be so bold to suggest that this is why God hardened their hearts even further when Jesus was sent to them!? These unbelieving Jews and their nation were being prepared for the fire for their ultimate sin of their rejecting their Messiah! (In fact, what I just stated is a big theme in Matthew's Gospel.)

And I suppose you will tell me that this next passage doesn't apply equally to both Jews and Gentiles:

Rom 8:7-8
7 the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. 8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God?
NIV

So...who is the dishonest one here: The one who clearly has an agenda and a huge axe to grind against the Five Doctrines of Grace, which is the true Gospel and, therefore, refuses to understand the scriptures in their three-fold context or people like Mr. Bright whose understanding essentially and substantially aligns with all of scripture?

P.S. Screaming at people from the bottom of your lungs only proves that you love to hear yourself....nothing else. Just sayin'...

Don't like it then stop trying to manipulate the Bible.
