The NIV is one of THE MOST CORRUPT (if not the most corrupt) paraphrases of the Bible. So you are the one with an axe to grind. I already refuted all your lies about the KJB.The NIV tries to bring its readers as close as possible to the experience of the original audience:
Funny-I didn't receive a notification from your response-just stumbled upon it now brother. You are most welcome. May the Lord Jesus bless you richly with staying true to the Word of God.
Side Note:
Oh, and just to let you know. I do prefer the Pure Cambridge KJB Edition; Especially on the reading of 2 Corinthians 10:4, which says "strong holds."
4 ”(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; )5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled." (2 Corinthians 10:4-6). ”
While Psalms 12:6 has a primary meaning, I also believe Psalms 12:6 speaks prophetically of the seven major KJV editions with the Pure Cambridge being the final settled purification. While I believe all seven KJV editions are correct, I believe the seventh purification or seventh major KJV edition is the one that more precisely reflects the original writings.
This seventh purification or KJV Editiion is the Pure Cambridge KJV at Biblehub.com.
Holman Pure Cambridge at Amazon.com is the proper Pure Cambridge that you can purchase (if you prefer a physical leath bible).
Personally, I use both for different reasons.
To learn more about the seven major KJV editions (or seven purifications according to Psalms 12:6), see my post here in this thread.
Brandon Petersons who has found amazing Biblical Numerics in the King James Bible has shown how certain numerical patterns fell into place involving the standardization of the KJV or with the later KJV editions.
Here are my two favorite videos by Brandon Peterson:

You said:Rather then doing that, I will express my thoughts aboutn those who exalt the King James translation and give all kinds of fallacious reasoning, much of it false, to justify their bias.
You said:The King James translation is centuries old. For many years it was considered to be THE Bible, even though it is just one of many translations. Centuries ago, King James ordered that there be one translation (for the church of England) and it (alone) would be the accepted Scriptures, and people still blindly believe that edict. To them, the KJV is the Bible and, despite centuries of research and scholarship by qualified people from many denominations, they still believe that. I find that to be tragic!
You said:It reminds me of the Pharisees, who (wrongly) insisted that the Scriptures they had to be the truth of God AND IGNORED JESUS WHEN HE SAID "I AM THE TRUTH".
You said:I have read many bizarre arguments in defense of the King James translation, many of which are so absurd and biased as to be not taken seriously. I have struggled to find the reason for this closed-minded attitude but have never come to a satisfactory explanation.
You said:The best answer that I have come up with is that, since King James declared his personally-ordered, biased translation to be => THE BIBLE <= some people still cling to that edict.
You said:Even though there is a mountain of evidence developed by scholars to demonstrate that the KJV is flawed, they refuse to accept it!
You said:Even the KJV has been modified many times
You said:and the original translators didn't consider their work to be infallible, some people still claim that it is! They will give all kinds of reasons for their opinion, but none of them hold up under close examination.
You said:It is absolutely astounding to me that people will discard centuries of scholarship by people of many denominations who are considered to be the best in their fields, utilizing the best sources, including ancient texts that have been recently discovered, and who have given us highly-researched, supremely accurate Bibles in favor of a version declared to be THE ONE TRUE BIBLE centuries ago by a megalomaniac.
You said:There is absolutely no doubt that we have the best Bibles ever developed available to us today. I am in awe of the many scholars (and others) from many denominations who have worked for so long to make these superb translations available to us. There are minor differences between the versions, because there are variations among the ancient sources and there is no direct translation from the ancient languages to English, but most good modern Bibles include footnotes and other references to explain possible differences.
You said:(the full version of the excellent NET Bible has more than 60,000 footnotes!)
You said:I strongly believe that people should choose a translation through which God can communicate to them most clearly and not pay attention to those who claim that there is only ONE valid English Bible. That simply is not the case!!!
You said:I recommend, if you are looking for a translation that communicates most clearly to you, you visit BibleGateway.com and read what the different Bibles "speak" to you. Put aside biases and what others tell you and do the research yourself. => God wants to communicate to you clearly via His written Word <=
You said:May God bless you richly as you open you heart and mind to Him!!!
Is that why you post links to "explanatory" (biased) videos???

"Most of all your Modern English Bibles today are based on the Nestle and Aland 28th edition" is nonsense.
I have not read this post, nor will I. You have made far too many statements that I consider to be biased and wrong. I have read those arguments before; they are nothing new. What I detect is a bias that cannot be reasoned with. Your "facts" are, in many cases, erroneous, and you clearly make your forgone conclusion determine what "facts" are relevant. If you enjoy reading the King James version, go for it. As long as it produces the intolerance of other versions (and other Christians) that you demonstrate, I won't come near it.

Agreed. I was simply posting some of the articles that reject the NIV. This person went beyond what he should have said.I don't think we should curse anyone under the New Covenant

Actually, the Modern Bible Movement that has taken over is liberalism or Modernism. Instead of Christians believing in a perfect and inerrant Bible like in the past, they now get to be like the Textual Critic and make that 5-7% of the Bible like silly putty. They follow corrupted texts and we know they are corrupted because if one simply looks at all the false doctrines, it makes one want to puke. Of course, folks in the Textual Critical camp are just not able to see it of course because they like the idea of an imperfect Word whereby they are also the authority on what God precisely said. Many today are like the Pentecostals whereby they are guided by their impressions or feelings that they think are from God. There is no real final authority, but themselves.
Why do you think the Bible speaks about a great falling away? It has already happened in these last days. Many are falling away from trusting what God’s Word says because they don’t believe God’s Word is perfect and entirely trustworthy anymore. Granted, I am not saying that this topic may always be a salvation issue. I believe some can be ignorant on this topic and preach in another ways and be saved. But those who look to tear down God’s true Word as if it is their life’s mission are not going to make it, unless they repent. Those who create false Bibles that add and take away from God’s words are not going to make it unless they repent.
Would you agree that God inspired His holy words in the "originals," but has since lost them, since no one has a perfect bible today?
