It is God's Will that all believers are water baptized. However, our salvation does NOT depend on us being water baptized.
There are NO WORKS we can do to be saved except..... BELIEVE on Jesus Christ as Savior, Lord and King thereby receiving His Blood for the forgiveness of all our sins and receiving His Body as The LORD our Righteousness.
We do NOT earn salvation by being water baptized.
Water baptism is a SIGN of COVENANT with Jesus Christ.
