understood completely
The way I look at is Jesus did not need to be saved and was baptised.
I views this as two things, one he wanted to show even saved people should get baptised and unsaved people.
Next questions
Is there or should there be a limit on water baptism ?
And has a lost practice been lost amongst the church
So now the different practices
Well if a saved person does water baptism like Jesus then there must be something very special about doing it.
One thing that springs to mind is not a practice of mine, but is a view point of other denominations, that one form of baptism of cleansing of sins is to confess your sins before God to a brother in christ also , which does not include water baptism, the practices of catholics.
Now to the baptism of John the Baptist, when John the Baptist baptized people, did he say confess your sins before God before baptizing And did they confess there sins to John, before he baptized them.
If there was such a legitimate case for this has something been lost.
If there is no legitimate case for this can you show me other wise.

It’s a promise to those who believe brother that’s who’s saved
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not shall be damned.”( prophetic)
Mark 16:15-16 KJV
jesus said that is the power of it we trust him so we follow
“Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. ( he speaks it ) And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.
And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.”( this is always the result since he said let there be light )
John 4:50-51 KJV
“And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, ( this is unheard of in thier culture yet his loving God touches this man who no one would have dared touch ) saying, I will; be thou clean. ( he speaks it ) And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”( the result )
Matthew 8:2-3 KJV
“And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. ….And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. ( he speaks )
( result ) And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”
Mark 4:37, 39 KJV
And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. ( he speaks )
And straightway the damsel arose, ( the result ) and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.”
Mark 5:41-42 KJV
“And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.( he speaks )
And he that was dead came forth, ( the result ) bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.”
John 11:43-44 KJV
So if he’s speaking to a person the same power flows through the person if they hear and believe and act
“And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.
And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:”
Exodus 10:21-22 KJV
a notice he told Moses something to do and then said something that seems unbelievable at least in comprehensible but Moses acts on his word and it happens as his word declared through Moses hearing and believing and acting
i believe that principle is the same with what he’s said in the gospel about salvation it is sent to all creation not only baptism but all he taught about salvstion and life everlasting in his kingdom
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
Mark 16:15-16 KJV
i believe when Jesus said that it’s also the same if we hear and believe we’ll act and that same assurance and power will always remain because of his words who created all things
