I think it is easier to know when the Great Tribulation is over and God's wrath begins.
Matt 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
The Tribulation is over with the sign of the Sun and the Moon. Then begins the Wrath of God.
Rev 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
The wrath is also document here as when it starts. So it starts after the 7th seal and the 7th trumpet is sounded.

is entirely distinct, in both appearance and as to time-slot, from that of
"moon shall not give her light"
the first one is said to be "BEFORE the GREAT" (before the "GREAT" aspect of the trib yrs; so occurring in the first half, just as seal #6 shows);
the other one is said to take place "AFTER" the "GREAT" tribulation (so, after the second half of the trib is concluded, i.e. at the GREAT trib's END-Matt24:29-31)

Paul plainly says that the gathering of the saints unto Christ cannot occur until there is a fallen away first which is the response of the world to the Gospel which the nations governments came together and stopped the preaching of the Gospel, and the belief in a personal God giving heed to the new age movement that people are evolving to be spiritual, and there is no God.
And the man of sin claims to be God which happens in the middle of a 7 years period which the stopping of the truth by the nations governments allowed the man of sin to be able to rule over them.
God is giving the world 7 years to have their way, and cause all people who do not love Him to follow the New Age Christ, and when they do then He will end sin on Earth.
There is no pre 7 years period resurrection.
The saints cannot be gathered unto Christ until the man of sin claims to be God which happens in the middle of the 7 years period.

But the Bible says the beast makes war against the saints and prevails against them, and they are given in to his hands for three and one half years, and when he shall accomplish to scatter the power of the holy people all things are finished.
Which then comes the end when the Son shall deliver up the kingdom to the Father, and then He will put down all power, authority, and rule.

When Israel and Hamas started fighting the nations divided themselves spewing out threats, and warnings, to divide the world in to 2 big groups siding with Israel, or the Arabs.
This is a scare tactic to get the people of the world to be on board for a one world government.
And to set the stage for the New Age Christ to negotiate peace in the Middle East resulting in a 7 years peace treaty, which will stop the fighting between Israel, and the Arabs, and stop the fighting in the world.
He will be considered a great man of peace, and will speak like no other man they heard speak understanding dark sentences, and will become the biggest player on the world scene.
The world will be split in to 10 sections with a leader in each section who will support the New Age Christ along with the newly elected Pope which is why Pope Francis elected 72% of the Cardinals.
Republican and Democrat top leaders are actually working together.
The one world government will be a balance between democracy and communism, and the unified religious system a balance between atheist and spirituality, which they believe they are evolving to be spiritual, and their higher power the God of forces, or the power of nature.
For the first three and one half years they will prepare the cities to move all people in to the cities, and at the end of that time all people will be moved in to the cities, and no development can happen outside city limits, and the people are the police force of the cities.
