I confess all the sins that come to mind. I have no debt. I believe that was paid for me on the cross. Neither have I any condemnation as I am in Christ Jesus.

that's basically what Jesus said in this Prayer.
Jesus Paid for everything ONE TIME.
the moment you accept God into your Heart, ALL SINS to that point are Cleansed. [Paul and Peter specifically Prove this as in PAST/OLD SINS]
Your Slate is Clean and You Owe no debt.
but to Sin again, is still crucifying Jesus back to the Cross. So, there's a Debt to be paid. Jesus made it Simple, ask for Forgiveness each Day.
Jesus, would not use the "specific word" Debt, unless, each time we Sin, there's a Debt that needs to be paid.

Why did Jesus need to pay for our sins? Because we accrued a debt. If we were to accrue any further debt, He would have to go to the cross again to pay for that debt too. Confession doesn't pay our debt. Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin. If Jesus doesn't pay our debt past, present, and future, how is any of your debt paid for? All your debt is future from the cross.
then tell Jesus and what He said to do to go get lost.

you are so wrapped up in DOCTRINE, a Doctrine, that is not even mentioned or listed in the Bible.

I'm just telling you what is true. I can both confess my sins and believe the basis for forgiveness is the cross. They are not contrary ideas.
Not one thing that I have stated has been refuted. I gave you the reasons for confession. I also gave you the truth that supports doctrine.
If confession was sufficient to pay sin debt, there is no need for the cross. This is either true or not. There is no remission of sins without the shedding of blood. It is therefore true.
That we are taught to confess daily doesn't change this truth any more than any other instruction does. We are instructed to ask God to provide our daily bread. Should we conclude we are not to work? We are instructed to ask God to lead us not into temptation. Should we conclude we should not strive against sin?
The answers are...of course not. One instruction doesn't negate another truth. So if the basis for forgiveness of sin is that they have been paid for at the cross, why would confession change this?
It's true based upon human reasoning, but not found in the Bible to actually support it with Scripture.
So, without Scriptural Evidence, how true is it really?
True enough to Stand before God and say, yeah, it's not found in Your Holy Word, but, I have reasoned it to be true?
The lords prayer says forgive us our sins m, for many the lords prayer is daily.
The prayers only says forgive us our sins, which means quite a few things.
First being the lords recognises all sins as something that needs to be confessed the same way as other sin.
Second thing the lord recognises you don't have to go into detail of a particular sin, because the lord is ok with you praying forgive me my sins
Third thing is the lords will know what sin your talking about.
Fourth thing is the lord is not asking the individual to go into detail about what sin they are confessing,
And you shouldn't be asking cameron to go into detail about what sins he may be confessing.
On a last note the lords prayer recognises that not all believers like sinning, but at the same time feal embarrassed for there sin, which more than suggest future sins can not be helped, and easily done,
For this reason alone your future sins are forgiven.
No other reason than that.
If however you or anyone else want that to mean people are saying otherwise that's on your head.
You keep going on and on about our sin debt being paid in full, but to me, Christianity - being a part of God's people - is a membership by which the Holy Spirit is the seal over us to show we belong to Him.
So when we abide in the Lord, yes, our sins are covered and God only sees the Lord Jesus' righteousness in us.
BUT if we choose not to abide in Him anymore - if we walk away from God (for God will never initiate moving away from us first), all the benefits of this membership stops including the payment for our sin debt.
In terms of living within our currently temporary and imperfect lives - until the Lord Jesus come back and we're clothed with the imperishable, yes, there would still be sin in our lives except the Holy Spirit will cause us to obey and become Christlike more and more as we continue to abide in Him, growing and maturing in our knowledge and understanding and trust in God. But I've read in some post as if it's so easy to fall away or be cut off from God for just one sin and that our spiritual condition ping pongs back on forth from saved to unsaved depending on whether we sinned at any given moment.
It's not like that. If a person starts to drift away from God and does nothing to draw back near to God and hardens their heart against God's many appeals to come back, THEN that person WILL eventually get cut off and be considered apostate by the Lord and lose membership in God's family. Remember the Prodigal Son? His father actually viewed him as DEAD the whole time the prodigal son was away from his father. His father would have continue to see his prodigal son as DEAD if the son never came back. Fortunately the son came back much to the joy of the father and was then considered ALIVE.

Romans 3:25 (AMP) - whom God displayed publicly [before the eyes of the world] as a [life-giving] sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation (propitiation) by His blood [to be received] through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness [which demands punishment for sin], because in His forbearance [His deliberate restraint] He passed over the sins previously committed [before Jesus’ crucifixion].
This sheds some light on what is meant by PAST sins. It does not mean that Jesus' death was ONLY for past sins.
Acts 13:39 - and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Hebrews 9:22...And almost all things by the law are purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

There is scriptural evidence. Only blood purges sin. Only once was an offering made.
There is only 1 sacrifice that God ever accepted for remission of sins. The only day of actual atonement was the day Jesus hung on the cross. This is certainly the way one should grieve over their sins. It is the way to approach God and be received into His presence. And it serves as a springboard to renew fellowship and communion. But it is not the reason sins are forgiven.
Sins are forgiven because their penalty has been met. God's wrath has been satisfied by Jesus death on the cross.

I asked why did Jesus command to Pray Daily to be forgiven of our debts, which is Sin?
We already established that Jesus Shed Blood is the solution to our forgiveness.
I asked, why is Jesus saying, when doing your secret prayer, only the Father hears, we are to Seek Forgiveness if your Doctrine is all future sins are already forgiven?
And we already know there is no such Verse that says future sins, that is man made Doctrine. To which I asked, are you willing to Stand before God on Your man made Doctrine, nowhere found in Scripture, and will God accept your reasoning over His Holy Word.
I use the original Greek, so there's no reasoning by humans involved in the Translation.
It's straight forward Past sins like Peter says Old sins.
Peter even says people are ignorant of this fact.
Much like the Grace Doctrine.
Peter straight up says these qualities and gifts God wants to enrich us with have been done, but the fact ONLY OUR PAST OLD SINS ARE FORGIVEN and not current sins is Why people are not able to show they have these blessings from God.
Peter flat out says due to only you having your old sins forgiven [not current not future] so you still have unforgiven sin...this is why these things are not evident in your life.

But the real question is:
If, and there is not a single Verse that says future sins anywhere are forgiven...why does Jesus say to ask daily for Forgiveness of Sins?

How can I assume my future sins are forgiven before I commit them [nowhere found in the Bible] when God tells me I need to ask for Forgiveness on a Daily Basis?
