Luke 5
21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
23 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

The last word of John 1:1 is not theos.

In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and God was the word.
Word order is different in Greek than in English. You have to know both languages in order to translate correctly. Simply looking at the word order in Greek is useless if you don't know how the syntax is structured.

WilliamJordan said it much better though. See post 1877.

1 Peter 4:11
If anyone speaks, [let him] [speak] as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, [let him do it] as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

to Christ belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever

1 Peter 5:10-11
But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle [you.] To Him [be] the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

to God belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever

ergo,
Christ is equivalent to God
Christ and Messiah are equivalent, meaning Anointed (One).

Ezekiel 37:5-6
Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones:
"Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I [am] the LORD."

  • The LORD God is the Resurrection; He it is who resurrects the dead; resurrection is proof that He is God.

John 11:25
I AM The Resurrection and The Life.

John 6:40
And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 11:43
Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice,
"Lazarus, come forth!"

  • JESUS OF NAZARETH is the Resurrection, He does not pray that anyone be resurrected, but directly commands it - He Himself raises the dead.

"thus saith the LORD"

The LORD said
"this is My commandment"

What I meant was God is the Creator and Jesus is the Son of God by whom He made all things. Maybe I don't understand. I think I am not communicating my thoughts right. In any case, I am leaving your thread.

The word Christ means Anointed. Who anointed Jesus but God?
2 Samuel 12;20
So David arose from the ground, washed and anointed himself, and changed his clothes; and he went into the house of the LORD and worshiped. Then he went to his own house; and when he requested, they set food before him, and he ate.

God set aside His glory, took on the form of a servant, being born of a woman, made of dust, clothed with flesh.
then He laid down His life, to take it up again. He sprinkled His own blood on the heavenly altar, purchasing with it His Church to be His betrothed bride.
after this He went to His disciples, and when they did not believe He had really risen and returned to them, He asked for food to prove to them that He lives.

and they brought Him a fish with honey, and He ate.

I don't find your words reflected in the Bible. Or in other words the scriptures.
