That food was on a blanket! Not a pagan altar!I would disagree. It's the same principle in Peter's vision...he could eat all the food because it's source was God.
I respect your opinion. I think it is ok not to eat as well.

That's a heavy charge. Denying Christ is much different than disagreeing over doctrine. Is this directed at someone in particular?
There are plenty here. And others figuring it out as they go. We're getting older. It took us awhile to come to this point.I'm delighted to meet someone who knows what the Christian life is really about.
I gotcha. I do appreciate you sharing with me.That food was on a blanket! Not a pagan altar!

What if you don't even know your brother; or it doesn't even have to be a brother- just somebody you might have influence over: and they just happen to see you from 20 meters. This doesn't have anything to do with eating "worthily". He's gonna think it's okay to partake in this pagan worship, because you did it; even though you didn't mean it that way in your heart- you're still putting a stumbling block in front of the blind.
The question still stands. We all agree with the word of God. The dissent is over what it actually means.I posted a verse, I clearly stated I agree with this:
1 John 5:21, “Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amĕn.”
It is a guard rail against any trivialization or things we are warned of.
Revelation 2:20, "But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols."
John/Yahanan 12:48, "He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day."

You've implied that if I do not offer reverence to your interpretation that I do not reverence God's commands nor love Him.why would you even say that, that is odd. I never said you were, you make up ideas, I posted this
There is only 1 pastor it is not me
John 10:16, “And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd (G4166 poimén).”
I seek to do His will
John/Yahanan 8:31, "...If you continue in My doctrine, then you are truly My disciples."
had zero to do with you or who you follow, ou made an accusation saying I was a "pastor" Im telling you I seek His will.
I come here for discussion, debate is ok too, but you are making things up
where is your verse to prove that?
1 John 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yah, when we love Yah and guard His commands. For this is the love for Yah, that we guard His commands, and His commands are not heavy."
The commands of Jesus are not the Law of Moses. Christians are related by the new birth to God, not to a pair of stones. You can't entreat a stone, you can't ask mercy of a stone and you can't find grace in a stone.YHWH’s Law was before Moses.
Matthew 19:8, "He said to them, “Because of the hardness of your hearts, Mosheh allowed you to put away your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. "
1 John 2:7, "Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning."
Genesis 26:5, “Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my Laws.”
John/Yahanan 7:16-17, "Yahshua answered, them, and said: My doctrine is not Mine, but His Who sent Me. If any man will do His will, he will know about this teaching, whether it comes from YHWH, or whether I am speaking of My own authority."
John/Yahanan 14:15, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
Mat 22:36-40, "Teacher, what is the greatest commandment in the Law? Yahshua said to him: You must love YHWH your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might (Deuteronomy 6:5). This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself (Leviticus 19:18). On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
love,
You must love YHWH your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might (Deuteronomy 6:5). This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself (Leviticus 19:18).
righteousness, caring for others, stand up for the helpless, and obedience to whatever He says.
1 John 3:24, “And the one guarding His commands stays in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He stays in us, by the Spirit which He gave us.”
You've implied that if I do not offer reverence to your interpretation that I do not reverence God's commands nor love Him.

You need to know that you are dead to the Law. (Galatians 2:19) Who takes a dead man to court, no matter how wicked he was in life? Who expects anything from a dead man? If you seek to live by the law, you will be judged by it. Good luck with that.
Okay, so blame a brother who makes no distinction for what you did; that's your answer?if you do not allow the distinction between eating and partaking, then you won't see the difference. A stranger would not see me eating with reverence to the idol as he might see those worshipping it doing.
You didn't post Jude 1:4?This is very simple
1 John 5:21, “Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amĕn.”
You've implied that if I do not offer reverence to your interpretation that I do not reverence God's commands nor love Him.
So you don't know that you hate your brother by requiring to keep laws that you can't even keep? or does he only have to keep the ones that you can?
You didn't post Jude 1:4?
Okay, so blame a brother who makes no distinction for what you did; that's your answer?
I asked who it was directed towards. You can post whatever you want.Yes I did, so posting that is wrong? how so please explain to me
