Let us press in, then... as Moses asked to see the very face of God.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For there inRomans 3:19
Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law,
that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Romans 6:15-16
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s
slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

Psalms 110:1-4, "יהוה said to my Master, “Sit at My right hand, Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” יהוה sends Your mighty sceptre out of Tsiyon. Rule in the midst of Your enemies! Your people volunteer in the day of Your might, In the splendours of set-apartness! From the womb, from the morning, You have the dew of Your youth! יהוה has sworn and does not relent, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Malkitseḏeq.”
Hebrews 5:5-6, "So also the Messiah did not extol Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him, “You are My Son, today I have brought You forth. As He also says in another place, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Malkitseḏeq,”
The statement is true. But, because of the weakness of the flesh, every man would die apart from the grace of God.
If we see Jesus as High Priest Forever, why then could we so readily discount His once and for all offering to be so easily made void by so much as an evil thought?

If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
Hebrews 7:11-12 KJV
No you haven't offended me in any way I'm almost impossible to offend in a biblical discussion them wrinkles are like war maps ...No worries, if you have done anything I do not hold it against you and do forgive you. If I have offended I also am sorry and didnt mean to, one thing though is that its always good to dwell on His word!
How can anything make void His offering? The offer remains for all humans.
Are you saying people who reject Him? If someone rejects Him then the offer is still valid but that person will not recieve it
John/Yahanan 12:48, "He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day."
If one rejects the High Priest's, His, offering as sufficient (that is, refuses to see it as if it were a law sufficient in itself), they would then feel the need to follow another law, though no other would ever be sufficient, as it is written, "For if that first covenant had been without fault, no place would have been sought for a second (Hebrews 8:8)."
Don't lament it brother I think no one is harmed and maybe after some time we will each get a little bit of what the other was saying sometimes letting things sit can really change alot if the spirits rightTonight, I will pray for you Pilgram, please pray for me (in earnest).
I lament my involvement in this thread.

Remember iron crashing and smashing against other shards of iron sends noises and flashes of sparks but afterwards the blade is a little sharper and more refined ....if no one ever disagreed we could never learn to get through those difficulties I mean eternity is a ling time to live together we better learn to disagree sometimes and love anyways or it could be pretty hairy spending that long together haha
you gotta speak brother cause you know stuff we simply still all have some buggaboos the Lord's working out you are a blessing
Yes but the part that says the leviticle preisthood is who ruled the law . I just wanted to add that to your thoughI tried to quote you but it came up empty
“For the priesthood being changed (#G3346), there is made of necessity a change (#G3331) also of the law.”
Heb 7:12, this is a verse that it helps to look at the Greek
Dont want to do that one
counting the blood of the covenant as common, so that it may be made void by so much as an evil thought, you mean?counted the blood of the covenant by which he was set apart as common, and insulted the Spirit of favour?

You aren't evil you just another flawed Christian who's getting better with time trusting Jesus to save you this dayAm I evil if I beleive this is true?
Revelation 14:12-13, “Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of יהוה and the belief of יהושע. And I heard a voice out of the heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Master from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, in order that they rest from their labors, and their works follow with them.”
or does believeing this and wanting to do as He says make me evil?
John/Yahanan 14:15, "If you love Me, keep My commandments."
because im getting a lot of flak
