Paul saw the ten commandments as part of the "ministry of death."

To translate the translators needed to understand the original language.. To do deep study on certian passages understanding original language is 100% vital. Understanding the word is not a bad thing.
It's an arrogant mindset that you and other Judaizers have to think that the folks, in times past, were too ignorant of linguistics to understand what they were trained to do.

Making the law the central component of the new covenant and not Christ is simply putting new wine in old wineskins.
This is so awesome!!
It's what is really going on here... trying to fit the Old into the New.

Do you think all 613 have been written on people's hearts? Do you stone adulterers to death?

Do you acknowledge that under the law you are guilty of breaking all if you fail on one?
I am guilty of breaking YHWH's Law and am in need of mercy.

Jeremiah 17:14, “Heal me, O יהוה, so that I am healed. Save me, so that I am saved, for You are my praise.”

1 Samuel 12:24, “Only fear יהוה, and you shall serve Him in truth with all your heart, for consider what marvels He has done for you."

and judgement will come, He is the Judge:

Matt 13:41-43, "The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear."

Hebrews 10:26-31, "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Those who rejected the Law given through Mosheh died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished, who has trampled the Son of YHWH underfoot, and has counted the blood of the covenant (with which He was sanctified) an unholy thing, and who has insulted the Spirit of mercy? For we know Him Who has said: Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says YHWH. And again: YHWH will judge His people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living Father."

I agree. But the present tact isn't working. And God is gracious to all. He gives the very breath by which
He is blasphemed. God can deal with the vengeance part any time He likes. We are tasked to love.
Legalists rarely change their spots. They do often eventually get banned.

Are you suggesting that speaking to such to present the Truth is unloving?

what? so studying original language is bad?

Also what about when you have 3 bibles that are all very mainstream popular and they read different?

that is what made me think... hmm what one is right?

And Muder is not permissible for anyone, period.
Is that more Yiddish? "Muder"?

I don't think that I've "mudred"... maybe, maybe not?
Do you have spellcheck in your wonky world?

Why do you continue to slander me by saying that I slander you? You seem to be such a child!!

I did not speak on the word "destroy"... only you have. I hope that people see this and see that you are derailing this conversation harping on a trivial issue!

I never used the word "destroy".
Only you have.

Then you say that I am somehow slandering you?

Such a Deceiver you are.
you said this:

YOU are the silly one, silly.
You are the only, so far, that has used the word "destroy"... are you arguing against some demon in your mind?
wow, just wow, you show yourself.

Yes, it is what you are doing. However well intentioned, it is misguided.
SO iniquity is believeing this?

John/Yahanan 14:15, "If you love Me, keep My commandments."

Mat 24:12, "And because iniquity will abound, the love of the many will grow cold."

I think you dont understand what iniquity is....

have to log out for a bit,

1 John 1:8-10, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us."

Could you please quit trying to derail the thread with your sophomoric attempts at slandering me with inconsequential tangents?
I don't care what your "home language" is. I do love diversity. Still, I seem to doubt that Hebrew is your "home language"... is that true? What is your first language... the language of your birth? Is it Hebrew?
This is an English based site... are you having difficulty communicating in English... or are you inserting Hebrew into our dialogue to make a point?

I want to serve... truly want to be humble and speak to whoever will speak with me.

However, if you're inserting Hebrew in order to promote a racist ideology... I want no part.

Making the law the central component of the new covenant and not Christ is simply putting new wine in old wineskins.
Great read brother!!

I don't want to assume or add to what you've written, but would like to say what's interesting to me in the "Jerusalem Council" is that "they", James, et al., said what they said... but the interesting bit is what they didn't say! Why didn't they say, observe Torah? Observe the 10 Commandments? It would have saved ink, lol. And then, in Corinthians, Paul virtually dismisses the whole of the "Jerusalem Council's" message...? Go figure... but he does clearly explain. (Though many misunderstand).

The thing is, many see Jesus and others say to obey His commands, and automatically think of the 10 Commandments. But Jesus never said to observe either the 10 Commandments or Torah. Why not? But He gave plenty of "commands" (centered around loving God and others - some count up to 30?). We are told that God has written His Laws on our hearts and mind... also that the Holy Spirit indwells us... ergo, we have the Law-Giver inside us, leading us into all Truth. And Jesus expounded on the Law in amazing depth and new dimension that the Old Covenant didn't clarify... showing us that, under the New Covenant, we have a greater revelation... Praise God. What is written on our hearts/mind is much more glorious then the (mere) 10 Commandments... it's deeper, and closer aligned with the very nature of God Himself.

So, when people say, "How can you say that the 10 Commandmentments are done away with? Do you still murder, covet, commit adultery?" I find it rather sophomoric!! No, God is never changing... but the 10 C's are obsolete. We have a better 10, and more detailed and beautiful... as Jesus expanded them. So, while the 10 Commandments have been done away with, God remains the same... and what is written on my heart/mind includes the 10 Commandments but enhanced... and then again much more.

Does God's Law continue... well, yes and no. God's nature has not changed one millimeter. What He gives us though, through Jesus Christ, is an "improved version", but still different. We obey, each in their own way, the same things/ideas/morals, but nothing is written in stone. If they were in stone (written form) others might point to them and demand us to follow. But now we follow our calling by the Spirit. Pointing to stone is a carnal thing; being led by the Spirit is something wholey "other". And Paul's words about a "law of liberty" become clearer... IMHO.

Anyway, I'm rambling now, lol. I hope that by attaching this post to your thoughts doesn't offend.
no Nono love and crave just what you’ve done here there’s no judgement just sharing your thoughts and they are wonderful and appreciated brother very much

Its really well said “Thou shalt not kill “I would only add this idea and consideration

“Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭13:8-

aid we leeen to love one another I won’t kill you , steal from you , commit adultery with your spouse , if I learn to love God I won’t have false gods that I worship ect
If we learn to love like the son of God bekng the children of God , there’s no one on earth that can have any accusation against us before the lord because it’s him

No. I'm suggesting speaking the truth in love. Love covers a multitude of sins.
Besides, there is more than 1 way to skin a cat. He is well versed in scripture and has already a list of rebuttals. A different tact is in order.

that’s good does he believe that jesus and the gospel is how someone can actually meet and know the lord in truth without the veil of Moses law ? Or does he think the Torah that Moses wrote is the best way to know the lord ?

Does he understand who the messiah is ?

“The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9:2, 6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Does he realize where David’s throne is ?

“Therefore ( David ) being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; he seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:30-33, 36‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Remember God said to David “ sit army right hand until I make your enemies your footstool ? That’s a prophecy about Christ being seated at Gods right hand the point is Jesus is the exact image of the true God Moses is not Moses is like trying toninderersnd and know God while standing far away and looking through a muddy dingy veil you can’t hear and see him really that’s what this is saying

“and not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:13-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

but the gospel is god made flesh and Ted chi gbus about salvation and life there’s no veil you see for like this instead when you see and hear Christ in the gospel

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

moses word can’t change us it’s not meant to Jesus word changes those who come to god through him we can’t reach god through Moses it’s about convicting sinners

rabbi is generally a term when Jewish converts try to add Moses law to the gospel like this group was trying to do

“But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, ( they believed in Jesus but ) saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. ( they tried to add in the old covenant to it )

And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭15:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

after the discussion the decision is really clear

“and they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: it seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭15:23-27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The law of Moses is a detriment to disciples of Jesus because it adds carnality to the gospel

No, the Law is a guide, zero to do with salvation.

I hope others see your duplicity in all this.

Yes, I poked fun at your misspelling of a word... to point out your duplicitous use of using Hebraic words in your presentation of your false gospel.
Could you please tell us why you include Hebraic words in your posts? It seems to me to be of racist origins... but I'd like your input. Since you seem to want to keep derailing this conversation with things about the word "destroy" and your injection of mixed languages... I'm simply asking "Why"...
You brought into the conversation "destroy"... and then accused me of slander. Why did you do that?
You are the one injecting Hebraic language on an English-speaking site... why do you do that?

Simple questions... so simple answers, please.
