In spirit means that you cannot keep the law by cutting flesh to complete the law to be circumcised, by not mixing fibers, or by adjusting what we eat. We keep the law by accepting Christ within, by loving God and accepting His ways as our ways.
I was going to respond to this but decided not to waste my time.

7» Rom 12:1 . . Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto
God, which is your reasonable service.

The Greek word for "sacrifice" technically refers to a victim; but it's not
always applied that way. For example speaking well of God, doing good, and
sharing are legitimate sacrifices. (Heb 13:15-16)

The sacrifice required by Rom 12:1 is a living sacrifice rather than deceased
so Christ's followers don't have to martyr themselves in order to fulfill it; but
their bodies do have to be holy in order to be accepted; which means
avoiding things that defile their bodies like indecency, promiscuity, adultery,
and LGBT stuff.

The Bible calls those requirements "reasonable". In other words: It isn't
asking too much of Christ's followers to keep themselves pure.

NOTE: One of the tools employed by communism, in its quest to influence
the governance of a foreign country, is moral corruption; which is very
effective when it gets into places like education, entertainment, literature,
family values, and/or religious institutions. That strategy is to be expected
from an atheistic foreign power. (cf. 2Cor 2:11)

It would be worthwhile to read Exodus 20. Before God gives the commandments, He makes a statement concerning redemption...He brought them out of Egypt. He has been gracious and merciful towards them. To try to understand the commandments of God without first understanding His grace and mercy relegates the law to becoming either an unjust taskmaster (which they had just come out from under) or a list of do's and don'ts on which to base God's approval.
They already enjoyed God's approval. This should have been clearly seen by what God had done. So the law should have been seen as the way or as befitting a redeemed people. That is to say, the purpose of the law was always to reflect grace. When sin was committed, the appeal should have been to God's mercy as pictured in the animal sacrifices.

So fast forward to today. What purpose does the law fulfill for us?
Does it provide justification? No.
Does it establish a legalistic relationship between us and God? No.
Does it provide sanctification? Again, no.
What it does do is show us how unholy and unlike Christ we are, and the impossibility of ever becoming so apart from grace. It should cause us to come face to face with our failures and in humility and contrition to call afresh upon God for His divine aid.
God's people have always been a people of grace. The law, for God's people, serves as a reminder of just how much grace we need.
here’s the difference though and what we should consider this is the laws disposition in every way

“Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

this isn’t the case with the New Testament there is no unforgiving angel set over the gospel instead it is God speaking to his people in person

the law isn’t about pardoning sin or being merciful infact the le ineteucte the people “ do not show any pity or mercy to the sinner put them to death “ like this

“And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.”
‭‭Numbers‬ ‭15:32, 35-36‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Is this actually Jesus speaking this ? Ot is it the angel God gave authority over the people under the law?

Is this Jesus disposition “ I’ll never pardon your sins “ or is this Jesus disposition

“And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭7:47-50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Would Jesus command this ?

“And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭20:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And then turn and disregard it like this ?

“they say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

…So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:4-5, 7, 10-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Do you see how the laws words written on it make it impossible for a sinner to be forgiven ? Like this

“The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among you.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭17:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

jesus would never command this but an angel who was given authority whos it says shall not pardon any transgression that angel would have to say this because he doesn’t forgive

“Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.”

“Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus words ? Or the unforgivingg angel set over the law ?

what purpose does the law serve then ?

“Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, ( it was an addition because of sin )

till the seed should come to whom the promise was made;( until Jesus came forth with the gospels promise of life )

and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.”( God turned over the people to angels because they worshipped the idol )
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices By the space of forty years in the wilderness? Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, And the star of your god Remphan, Figures which ye made to worship them: And I will carry you away beyond Babylon. Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers: who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:41-43, 51-53‬ ‭KJV‬‬

we need to understand there are two seperate testaments one was defiles by sin when it began the other came to redeem mankind from the results of sin according to the law which says anyone and everyone who sins must die and there is no pardon

“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭18:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

But the gospel Jesus pays the price of death of every person to redeem the sinner and give them a new life having thier sins washed away and given the true word of God that gives life

One Testament is meant to impute sin and hold everyone guilty without pardon

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and the New Testament is designed to remit pardon sin making those guilty sinners new and clean and forgiven children of God not imputing sin against them but remitting sins from them

As you see the ot purpose is to impute and hold guilty of sin the new is this opposite

“and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:46-47‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the law didn’t begin in Jerusalem but the gospel and great commission began in Jerusalem

8» Rom 12:2 . . Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by
the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Bible reading is a good place to begin with Rom 12:2; however, the ways of
God aren't meant to be self-taught; they're meant to be instructed by
teachers empowered by God for that specific purpose. (Rom 12:4-8, 1Cor
12:1-30)

Sermons and Sunday school classes are Christianity's traditional sources of
teaching. But these days with radio, television, and the internet; competent
God-given spiritual leaders are wide-spread and readily available. In
centuries gone past, it was necessary to journey to hear them speak.
Nowadays, they speak to the whole world by means of electronic gadgets.

* Beware using 1John 2:27 as an excuse to circumvent instruction. When
Christians do that, they risk stunting their spiritual growth and causing
division.

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists;
and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the
work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in
the unity of the faith." (Eph 4:11-13)

The Greek word translated "edifying" means to build up as opposed to
tearing down.

1 John 2:3-5
King James Version

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

So what are his commandments?
The Sermon on the Mount is one set of commandments that Jesus taught.

The so-called Sermon On The Mount isn't something to admire, rather, it's
something to fear because Jesus said failure to comply with it results in ruin.
(Matt 7:26-27)

If perchance someone out there is worried about the Sermon, i highly
recommend speaking with God about it like this:

"God; I have never yet complied with the Sermon On The Mount, and I'm
pretty sure I never will. I would like to take advantage of your son's death to
protect me from the consequences of my failure. I've heard that you had me
in mind when Jesus went to the cross for the sins of the world so I didn't
think you'd mind my asking. Thank you for your time."

9» Rom 12:3 . . I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that
is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think;
but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure
of faith.

"soberly" is from a Greek word that basically means to be of sound mind, i.e.
sane, sensible, rational.

A popular saying going around is this: "You can be anything". No, we can't
be anything, and it's unreasonable to think otherwise. Know your limits and
stay within them; don't be setting impossible goals for yourself; especially in
matters of faith and practice.

"Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members
do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one
body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts,
according to the grace given us.

. . . If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If
it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is
encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others,
let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is
showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully." (Rom 12:4-8)

Some church managers have a really bad habit of recruiting people to teach
Sunday school who don't have a gift for it in accordance with Rom 12:3-8,
1Cor 12:1-30, and Eph 4:7-12. Well; if teaching is not your spiritual
specialty; then the sensible thing to do is decline. Function within your range
like Rom 12:3 says, and don't let those managers pressure you into
submission by making you feel guilty for refusing. Nobody gains points with
Christ by going off-reservation.

10» Rom 12:6 . . If God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out
when you have faith that God is speaking through you.

The Greek word for "prophesy" in that verse encompasses predictions, which
were common in the early church; for example Agabus at Acts 11:27-28 and
Acts 21:10-11.

Hunches don't count because it's required that prophets sincerely believe
themselves infallible and speaking for God ex cathedra, i.e. by means of
inspiration. (2Pet 1:20-21)

11» Rom 12:7a . . If your gift is that of serving others, serve them well.

"serving well" implies serving conscientiously and whole-heartedly rather
than half-baked, grudging, and/or hit and miss.

One of my brothers has been a construction foreman for decades and one of
his perpetual complaints is that he never knows from one day to the next
whether some of the men he hires on jobs will show up. In other words:
they aren't reliable, he can't count on them.

What I'm saying is: if you're thinking about becoming helpful in some way,
don't do it unless you're willing to commit to the long haul because people
need to know that they can depend on you to stay the course.

(Luk 13:3,5 Mar 1:4 24:47)
+
2) believe the gospel of the kingdom (Mat 4:23, 9:35, 24:14; Mar 1:14,15)
+
3) be water baptized "For the remission of sin" (Mar 1:4 Luk 3:3, 7:29:30, 24:47;

signs of the end times, and Second Coming?

A) Do I follow His earthly prophecy "faith PLUS works" program of covenants and law?
( OT, Mat - John, Heb - Rev ) or:

Rightly Divided (2 Timothy 2:15) From “Things That Differ” (online)

B) Do I follow Him As The Risen And Glorified "Head Of His Church" and ask:

I have decided to Follow ( The Heavenly ) LORD Jesus?

And, His Heavenly Pure Grace Program, According To The Revelation Of The Mystery?
(His Doctrine in Romans - Philemon)

Of course, Under God's Other Context Of Grace for The ( Heavenly ) ONE Body
Of Christ, Which began with ( ONE apostle ) Paul, Baptized By The ONE Spirit,
as the first 'member' of the ONE New man...
(Ephesians 2:15; 1 Timothy 1:16; Romans 11:13; Ephesians 4:5; 1 Corinthians 12:13),

...it is ( as Paul states 21 x ) "But Now":

1) Have repentance toward God (change mind about sin/agree With God "it is Wrong!")
(Acts 20:21)
+
2) Have faith toward The LORD Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21), and trust/believe The Gospel
Of The Grace Of God: His Death ( ALL-Sufficient Work On The Cross ), Burial, And
Resurrection, According To The Scripture (Ephesians 2:5-9; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
+
3) Acknowledge I am Spiritually Baptized By The ONE Baptism Of The Holy Spirit
Into The ONE (Spiritual Organism) Body Of Christ, Seated In the Heavenlies
(Ephesians 4:5; Colossians 2:12; Galatians 3:27; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 12:13)
+
4) Acknowledge Christ Is Living in me, so I allow Him to, through me:
+
5) All of the "commandments In Romans-Philemon" are summed up as:

To Fulfil:

All Of His Law, In ONE Word: ►► love ◄◄ thy neighbor
as thyself!" (Galatians 5:14; Romans 13:8-10)
+
6) Study God's Word Of Truth, Rightly Divided to show myself "Approved Unto God"
(2 Timothy 2:15), and all the rest of these Bible study rules!
+
7) Work with my hands to "give to them in need," and the LORD "shall supply all my need"
(Ephesians 4:28; 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12; 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12; 1 Timothy 5:8)
+
8) Be a humble prayer warrior and:
"...look, watch, and Patiently WAIT For..." = The LORD Jesus Christ!
(2 Thessalonians 2:1; Romans 8:18-19; Romans 8:23; Romans 8:25; 1 Corinthians 1:7;
Ephesians 6:12-18; Philippians 3:20; Colossians 4:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 1:10;
1 Thessalonians 5:5-11; Titus 2:13)
+
9) Put on the FULL armour of God and stand, in the spiritual warfare I wrestle with
(Ephesians 6:10-18)
+
10)
Eph 6:19 "And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I
may open my mouth boldly, to make known the Mystery Of The Gospel,"
+
11)
Eph 3:9 "And to make all men see what is the fellowship of The Mystery, which from the
beginning of the world hath been hid in God, Who created all things by Jesus Christ"
+
12) Acknowledge that I am going to give an account at Judgment (1 Corinthians 3:8-15;
Romans 14:12), at my Heavenly Home-Going ( Great GRACE Departure! )

According to these and all the details of God's Sound Doctrinal Blueprint In
Romans Through Philemon?
(1 Timothy 1:10; 2 Timothy 4:3; Titus 1:9):

Titus 2:1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

Or:

C) Do I speak after following the Many, who homogenize A) + B) into
Massive Confusion?

Final question would be: Which Option, Under Grace Today, should I take
To Honor and Glorify God, Who Plainly and Clear Says in Romans 11:6:

"And if By Grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise
Grace is no more Grace. But if it be of works, then is it
no more Grace: otherwise work is no more work."
Precious friend(s), thanks again. I appreciate all your prayerful and careful
consideration of this Eternally Important Matter.

People took their sins to the high priest at the temple in Jerusalem, but in Psalms 110:4 we read that God spoke to Christ telling him He was our high priest forever.

Christ never changed anything of the commandments, bur there was a change, it changed the commandments given through the flesh to those commandments given through the spirit of the Lord. Christ lived as a man, he was tempted as we are so he understands and rules as our high priest with mercy and grace.

Hebrews, the 4th and 5th chapter explains. Now, we have the same rules of the OT, but through the heart and the spirit of Christ. All the commands given come from the greatest commandment. They are no longer freshly rules, but the spirit of God.

The greatest commandment scripture is found in the Bible, in the book of Matthew 22:37-4012, and Mark 12:28-3134. Jesus said, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy mind, and the second is like it, thy shall love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
May I ask you a question.

Do we love others as we love ourselves, or do we love others as Christ has loved us.

There is an obvious difference between these two commandments.

Loving yourself is a conditional love based on how you view yourself. What happens if you hate yourself?

John 13:34
I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

We have been given a NEW COMMANDMENT and that is an unconditional love. The love of Jesus was always unconditional.

One is the law and the other is an entirely new commandment.

Leviticus 19:17, "You shall not hate your neighbor in your heart. Rebuke your brother or your sister frankly, so you will not share in his or her guilt."

Luke 17:3-4, “So be on your guard! If your brother trespasses against you, rebuke him! But if he repents, forgive him! And if he trespasses against you seven times in one day, and seven times in that day turns to you, and says; I repent; then you must forgive him.”

Exodus 20:6, “But showing love to thousands who love Me by keeping My Laws.”

John 14:15, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

and His Torah (instructions/Law/Commands) is His explaing to us how to love

1 John 5:2-3, " 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.

He writes that Law on the heart so we may love properly

Hebrews 10:16, "“This is the covenant that I shall make with them after those days, says יהוה, giving My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I shall write them.”

12» Rom 12:7b . . If you are a teacher, do a good job of teaching.

I had a Sunday school teacher once who worked as a maintenance man in a
public swimming facility. One Saturday he had to work very late repairing
some equipment at the pool and had no time to prepare his lesson plan for
Sunday morning so he just threw something together. It stunk; and my wife
and I got nothing out of it.

In contrast, I once knew a pastor who took all week long to prepare his
Sunday morning sermons rather than put it off till Saturday night. Now there
was a guy who knew what it means to do a good job of teaching; viz: a
conscientious job.

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of
God." (1Cor 10:31)

One of the meanings of the Greek word for glory is "honor" which in this
case can be defined as doing something out of respect for someone admired
and/or held in high esteem.

13» Rom 12:8a . . If your gift is to encourage others, then do so.

Developing children benefit from encouragement in a big way. Thoughtless
grown-ups can destroy a young child's fragile spirit by criticizing them all the
time and never once giving them an "attaboy" or a single vote of confidence.

A fitting word spoken at just the right moment can really beef up
somebody's resolve to meet life head on. If you're good at that sort of thing,
then watch for opportunities to do so. It has to be honest though because
leaving people with a false impression of themselves is all the same as
treachery, and sets them up for disappointment.

"Whoever flatters his neighbor is spreading a net for his feet." (Prov 29:5)

14» Rom 12:8b . . If you have money, share it generously.

"generously" is translated from a Greek word basically meaning simplicity,
which can be construed as innocence and/or naivete. In other words;
sharing one's wealth without expecting reciprocity and/or gaining an
advantage. To the pragmatic mind, that kind of generosity is a poor
investment, i.e. it's like throwing money out the window.

For example: contributions to a political candidate's campaign fund typically
aren't motivated by generosity, whereas contributions to a charitable agency
like Samaritan's Purse and/or a local rescue mission are because folks
benefiting from those contributions are so powerless, and so disadvantaged,
that there's nothing worthwhile to be gained by offering them assistance.

36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.”---Matthew 22
