So never accept that healing is not God's will just because it does not happen instantaneously.
Some times it never happens at all. We need to preserve a proper balance. But if it is a divine miracle it is INSTANTAENOUS. That is what is presented in Scripture. A good example is Peter and John and the man they healed outside the temple. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

Why did God insert "immediately" into that verse? So that people would not deceive others into thinking it was not immediate.

Amen!

1) On the earth He never refused to heal everyone in Israel, so that
they could "meet the first requirement" to be a "nation of priests
unto God" (Matthew_4:24; Acts_5:16 cp Leviticus_21:21)

2) The Twelve apostles continued to 'heal everyone'
(Mat_4:24, 8:16, 9:35, 12:15; Mark 6:56; Luke 4:40, 6:17,19, 8:43, 47;
Acts 3:11, 5:15)

( earthly ) Prophecy / Covenants / Law with twelve apostles for
twelve tribes of Israel

Rightly Divided (2 Timothy 2:15) From Things That Differ" (online)

( Heavenly ) Mystery / Grace with One apostle for One Body Of Christ

Everyone 'healed,' Yes?

1) In the beginning of Paul's ministry to The Body Of Christ,
he had the 'gift' of special miracles ( 'sign' gifts confirming
his 'apostleship'? (Acts 19:11-12), Correct?

2) However, at the end of his ministry the 'sign gifts' and the
'gift of healing' were withdrawn, By God Himself (1 Timothy 5:23;
2 Timothy 4:20 cp Philippians 2:26). Correct?

Why would God Do That? Bible Answer:

3) Paul prayed Three times for his own "thorn in the flesh" -
( critics say 'unbelief', But: ) God's Answer?:

"And He Said Unto me, My Grace Is Sufficient For thee:
for My Strength Is Made Perfect in weakness. Most
gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
The Power Of Christ may rest upon me."
(2 Corinthians 12:9 cp v 10; 2 Corinthians 11:23-30)
+

4) Grace Word For our infirmities!
---------------------------------------------------
Conclusion: "Healing By God ( apart from the 'sign gifts' )" Today,
( living in the Correct
* Dispensation: ) Under Grace, then depends
On God's Word Of Truth,
Rightly Divided, Correct?

Amen.

* UnScriptural or UNdispensational?
In my short time here, I cannot recall reading even one thing that you have said which was truly rightly divided scripture.

Looks great and very sound.

Healing can take place immediately, it can be in part, as the blind man who first saw men walking as trees before he saw clearly, or it may not come at all.

God is sovereign. He is working all things to our good, and he is intertwining the events of all our lives perfectly with those around us at just the perfect time. And He knows exactly what we need and when we need it.

J.I. Packer said something to the effect that God will give to us nothing that will make heaven less for us or leave with us anything that would diminish it for us.

The choice isn't either or but both. Imagine for a moment that you are an infinite being. And your goal was to accrue as much glory as possible. And you receive glory by making yourself as fully known as possible. Wouldn't it stand to reason that the greater number of expressions of your power would yield greater glory?

Each of you have shared ways in which God works. Glory be to God.

The process of healing is NOT UNBIBICAL -----you people seem to have no idea how God's Kingdom works -------and what is needed to manifest His promises ------God's Kingdom works on the Farming system -----you plant the seed of healing and watch the seed take root and grow as you mature in your Faith in Jesus who is the healer -----every step is a process ------

What the Bible says about Healing Occurring in Stages
(From Forerunner Commentary)

https://www.bibletools.org/index.cf...RTD/cgg/ID/17349/Healing-Occurring-Stages.htm

This healing by stages pictures the maturation process of a believer's spiritual understanding, the conversion process each Christian experiences.
Christ's method of healing here shows that our spiritual enlightenment is a continuous process
.

At first, we cannot see God's truth clearly. Most of our spiritual blindness remains, but as our faith, obedience, and growth develops, Jesus, "the author and finisher of our faith" (Hebrews 12:2), increases the clarity of our spiritual vision through the power of His Holy Spirit.

Healing Is A Process

https://adevotion.org/archive/healing-is-a-process

All healing is a process that happens through time as you continually improve in health. With God, healing can sometimes be so speeded up that to us it seems almost instant, but this is not the normal way God’s healing works.

Jesus taught us that God’s kingdom works like a seed planted in the ground which grows and produces over time (Matthew 13:31).

The important thing, and what God’s Word promises, is the end result, not how long it takes.

Many people who have not understood that healing from God is a process involving time, have given up their faith when they did not have an instant miracle recovery.

Don’t let the devil steal from you, through this wrong thinking, what Jesus paid for you to have!

The Bible tells us that healing is ours, because Jesus paid for it (1 Peter 2:24). But the Bible never says we will all receive healing instantly. Sometimes it can be very quick — and we know it is a miracle. Other times it can take awhile, but no matter how long it takes, we have the promise of God that healing is ours, giving us divine assurance that we will be healthy and whole!

All the healings of Jesus during His ministry on earth were not instantaneous, either. Mark 8:22-25 is an account of Jesus ministering to a blind man. After Jesus laid hands on the blind man he could "see men like trees, walking." In other words, he could see, but not very well. Only when Jesus laid hands on him again did his sight become clear. Although a long period of time was not involved, it does show a healing that was a process — not instantaneous.

MARK 8:25 NKJ 25 Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.

Luke 17:12-19 tells of ten lepers who were healed "as they went." Healing was not manifest while they were in Jesus’ presence, but only after they left Him.

LUKE 17:14 NKJ 14 So when He saw them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.

John 9:6-7 tells of another healing involving some time. And John 4:52 mentions a time "when he began to get better" indicating a process of recovery.

JOHN 4:52 ESV 52 So he asked them the hour when he began to get better, and they said to him, "Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him."

So never accept that healing is not God's will just because it does not happen instantaneously.
You can not make an one time example to an rule (Mark 8)
Still you cant show that healing is a process, and that it is depend that the believer has to work for.
Luke 17 and John 4,52 are not speaking from a process; 9,6-7 has nothing to do with a healing process, too.

If you claim that these exceptions are the common way to be healed, then you must also claim, that every believer needs a special advise from the Lord to get be healed.
Also it is strange that you necklect the normal case.
Still now there is no Single vers which tells the believer that divine healing is a process, in that the believer active has to work it out or confess sin, or it takes time.
The verses you statet in no case advised the healed people to change sinful habbits or anything else.
1. Peter 2,24 has nothing to do with physical healing.

If you tell people that every believer will get physical healing while he lives on earth, and that this is prommissed from God then this is a lie!

"There are none so blind as those who WILL NOT see".
We can waste a lot of irretrievable time speaking with those who will not grow.
Best to share His gift of gospel truth to those who hunger, and the fields are white, and ready for harvest.
Keep in mind the germans elected a corporal to run their army.
best wishes, all:)(y):unsure::giggle:

Look Shittim, you can Show me how you disagree and how boring it is what I write. But your also not able to show me where it is taught in the bible that healing is a process which needs time and research to pursue the healing.

Nehemiah6,---The Disciples where infilled with the Holy Spirit at Pentecost-----to carry out the building the of the Church for Christ by winning souls and preforming Miracles -----

the indwelling of the Holy Spirit was given to the Disciples before they were infilled with power by Holy Spirit -----

you need to understand that the difference between the 2 ---the infilling is given to people for a specific task that God has given them to do ------the infilling gives you power to preform miracles --- heal instantly ---to cast out demons --speak in tongues -etc -

the indwelling is for Salvation ---you cannot preform instant healing with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit ----the Holy Spirit has the power to choose who gets this extra power --that is the infilling to do a certain task that God wants done ----and the Holy Spirit Decides ---and that is scriptural -------the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit

We humans who have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit are saved -----but we cannot heal ourselves or others just by having the indwelling of the Holy Spirit ---you need the infilling of the Holy Spirit -----to heal immediately ---the infilling was given at Pentecostal to the Disciples ----for God's purpose -----

John 20:19-23

New International Version
Jesus Appears to His Disciples
19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”

20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.

21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”

22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

People also ask
Did the disciples receive the Holy Spirit at Pentecost?
Scripture tells us the disciples were given the Holy Spirit before the Day of Pentecost, and, they were told to remain in Jerusalem to receive “a power” from the Holy Spirit.

For us to get healed we who are just indwelled with the Holy Spirit do not have the power to heal immediately ----we have the Salvation promise that healing is there for us ---if we so desire to plant the seed of healing-----when you don't plant the seed you can;t even begin to get the results of a harvest ---at least if you plant a seed you can learn from what your doing to fix any problems that are stopping your full harvest ----

the Word is the Seed-----you need to keep the weeds out so it doesn't choke your seed before you get your harvest -------

The Parable of the Sower is telling us how God's Kingdom Works ------by the Believer planting God's promised Seeds which will give a harvest -----if ----planted in good fertile inner soil ----and we see the process through keeping the weeds out so nothing stands in the way of getting the full harvest ----

Luke 8:4-18
And when a great crowd was gathering and people from town after town came to him, he said in a parable, “

A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell along the path and was trampled underfoot, and the birds of the air devoured it.

And some fell on the rock, and as it grew up, it withered away, because it had no moisture. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up with it and choked it.

And some fell into good soil and grew and yielded a hundredfold.” As he said these things, he called out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” ...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
this is the meaning of the Parable ------

9 His disciples asked him what this parable meant. 10 He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that,

“‘though seeing, they may not see;
though hearing, they may not understand.’[a]

11 “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.

12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.

13 Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.

14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.

15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

This Parable is the way we get God's promises manifested in this Physical realm --------Healing is a promise ----unless we are given the POWER BY THE HOLY SPIRIT to heal instantly ---which is the INFILLING of the Holy Spirit ---we have to follow the Parable of the Sower to get the right results and don't fall away -----persistence ---steadfast Faith get the desired harvest ------

J.I. Packer said something to the effect that God will give to us nothing that will make heaven less for us or leave with us anything that would diminish it for us.
Sounds good, but where is the scriptural support? How about this verse to introduce a balance? Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy (1 Tim 6:17). There is a lot of misinformation about divine healing in this thread. So one needs to sort the chaff from the wheat.

The scriptural support is contained in the fact that God is good. I also believe Romans 8:28 encompasses this thought.
If you think I have erred doctrinally feel free to point that out. It would be most appreciated.

J. I. Packer was the one who erred. Not you. Packer was a dyed-in-the-wool Calvinist.
I'm only interested in what he said that I shared. Packer's wife is or was Catholic. So he had bigger problems.
I actually heard him speak about 30 years ago. I didn't find him particularly spiritual or well spoken. But I find truth in a variety of unlikely places. I don't disregard because of its source.
