So that is their theoretical process to explain this exponential increase? I think the gravitational impact of this Planet X system is far more plausible explanation. This explanation of removing oil from the crust would not explain the wobble of Earth's axis of rotation increasing significantly nor would it explain the wandering of the magnetic poles appearing to be ready to flip. So if you use this oil explanation you have to believe those other two things are simply coincidental.So basically @ZNP no oil on earths top layer means the inability to transfer heat from the sun and let's more heat out from the mantle, you get a double whammy

I like to keep it simple, one simple explanation that explains all the observable phenomenon.

The Greek word Tectonics alludes to this. The Greeks realized there had to be another force contrary to gravity that built the mountains (Tectonic is the Greek word for builder). That force is now thought to be convection currents.

No the theory is based on the Planet X system (it is a brown dwarf star and a number of satellites around this star) it is on a very elliptical orbit and as it comes in around the sun it crosses our orbital path. The astronomers who discovered this had this theory. Occasionally the earth is near or even in the path as it will be in 2029. This is a big gravitational force passing close to the earth (at times) and that can cause an increase in volcanic activity as well as causing our axis of rotation to wobble and our magnetic field to flip).I would agree with this theory and extremely bright
Did you work this out for yourself. Just one thing you know that earths core has many layers of blankets, would you say that gravitational pulls from both sides only heats it up more.

Thanks I enjoyed that video, I watched it all. Apparently Yellowstone is 40.000 years overdue a supper volcanoe, having watched it tho there is indication that volcanoes are permanent heat spots of the earth like I suggested earlierin the US, it's on YouTube so if you search it's title maybe it will show.
