Interesting. That would make sense. We don't have a Biblical record of this, but we know the early church did things purposefully and symbolically, like meeting on the first day of the week. It wouldn't surprise me.

And now that you mention it, it makes me a bit curious where the triple cheek greeting of Brazil comes from.

To be completely honest, that is 100% up to you. If you don’t feel comfortable kissing your boyfriend, you definitely should have those boundaries, and make those certain boundaries known. That is just my opinion

Sister Katheren I would say this as if you were my daughter, Kiss him on the cheek never on the mouth. Reason? Because a kiss on the mouth tends to lead to other things,at least on his mind!! Hi, not a teen but just wanted to say, in case you were not aware, that kissing transfers testosterone from the male to the female, so the males body is telling her body sex is on the cards. Wether you know it or not consciously, your body is designed to look for these alerts as a spouse, and prepare itself for sex... ie increasing desire for sex. So you make yourself more vulnerable to temptation, regardless of your intentions, if you engage in romantic kissing.

Best to keep it to a peck on the cheek if anything really, as its hard enough battling hormones as a teen as it is!
