The REV is not the REB is not the RSV. They are three different translations.

For crying out loud, watcher.

THOSE ARE THE TEXTS THEY WERE TRANSLATED FROM. The translations are different.

You REALLY aren't getting this?

Yes they used same translation but translated differently.
They may have started from the same TEXTS, but they are different translations. Not related.

FWIW, the REV started from the ASV as a base translation.

My point.
That was not your point and you know it.

And you searched until you found the one that matches your dogma
SMH. You'll say or do ANYTHING to bash someone/something you do not agree with.

Develop some character.

Catch you later.

Could it mean Jesus was with the father in the beginning ? Possibly
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,and
the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.

Though it is generally understood and accepted that eternity has no beginning
or end, so that is just another way to say Jesus was always present with God.

Jesus is also called the Alpha and Omega: beginning and end. He says of Himself:

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive
for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Yes Jesus was there with God in the beginning But in what form, it couldn't have been man form it must have been spirit.

So what we should read is the spirit of Jesus was with the spirit of The father.

But who was mightier at that moment ?.

We see Jesus confesses His father is above him.

But was that Jesus the man or Jesus the spirit.

And I am the begining and end.

What end is Jesus refering to.

And I am the alpha and the omega

Are you sure this refers to beggining and the end .

Could it mean something else ?.

And the word I am, what does that mean ?.

Befor abraham, I am ?

I am what ?.

You assume that the first few verses of John are talking about Jesus Christ. They're talking about God's logos, His will, plan, or purposes. The pronoun "he" was added by the translators.

Jesus is also called the Alpha and Omega: beginning and end.
That's right. Jesus Christ and God do share some of the same titles.

He says of Himself:

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive
for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Amen!

FWIW, God was never dead.

No, Jesus Christ is not God. As Jesus said, his Father is "the only true God" (John 17:3).

I have made several posts recently about it, and provided many scripture supporting my position. I know that might put my membership here on thin ice, and whie I would rather not be banned, if it happens, it happens.
Read the full chapter in John 17 here is an excerpt;

Joh 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
Joh 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Joh 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Joh 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
