Most people blindly follow Bible only when the world is full of scripture. You have to study the history of the Bible. They never said it was the only scripture. They used their own criteria for making the book and didn't claim God told them. They basically said it all had to tie together and have quotes from the old testament. Most of history the other books were accepted. You can even get them in new testament Greek and English on Google books. Not to mention that it stops scripture from being written today. If the Bible ended everything then why does it itself promote the gifts of divine revelation. Seems like a confusion to end something with books that promote it. I've thought about the Bible being perfect but it's really like saying God is perfect. Everything with God is perfect. Every good and perfect gift comes from God according to the Bible, not just the Bible. When that which is perfect has come that which is in part will be done away. But how can it be the Bible. They had Bible. It's like saying when the perfect comes the perfect will be done away. Because compiling scripture made scripture cease if so. Scripture got rid of those seeing in part scriptures? Putting a book together that promoted seeking to prophesy cancelled prophecy? It listed the gifts of the spirit but as soon as you read the book it's too late? Cessationist promote a dead Bible as perfect because half the New testament isn't valid to them anymore.
God clearly does inform us that scripture now is only of one completely integrated book from beginning to end. And logically speaking, were it to be of more than one, then none of them could be considered trustworthy (as being the source of truth for things spiritual and eternal). Therefore, any scripture which declares itself divinely inspired yet apart from the Bible, reveals itself counterfeit because Christ alone, and mercy and grace through Christ alone, will not be/cannot be its basis and foundations because they have already been claimed by the Bible.
Further, were it possible that there could be many divinely inspired books, we would never be able to know for certain when we had received all of God's revelation, and therefore, no one could never be rightly judged by God nor rest easy, because additional spiritual revelation could be forthcoming that would modify or even reverse the intent of everything thus far received. Therefore, for God's word to truly be God's word, it must contain a distinct beginning point and a distinct ending point, after which, no further revelation would be possible in order to know that we have received it all. Genesis 1:1 is that beginning point and Revelation 22:18 & 19, the ending point whereby the Bible was closed by God.
God's purposes for the Bible were solely to provide revelation and wisdom - the revelation of Jesus Christ as Saviour, and by that revelation, also the revelation of God's plan of salvation and judgment for all mankind. From this, and through the Holy Spirit, those who become born-again manifest characteristics of true Christians, retaining those within themselves throughout their entire lives. The truths that have been revealed by it are eternal unending.
Notice in Psa 40:7 and Heb 10:7, we are informed by Christ Himself that "THE BOOK"(singular), was about Himself, and that in Ti 3:16 - 17, "the book", also furnishes those of God " unto all good works".
[Psa 40:7 KJV]
7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume
of the book [it is] written of me,
[Heb 10:7 KJV]
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume
of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

6 All scripture [is] given by inspiration
of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the

[Gen 1:1 KJV] 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
[Rev 22:18-19 KJV]
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.
