Why were some of the worst tyrannical displays in Canada, France and Australia?

As the situation gets bad in the US where would you think of moving? In the past you might have thought of Canada, no more. Or you might have thought of Australia, not anymore. If you were to go to Europe maybe you would have thought of France.

I think these countries were in your face warnings that they are not what they used to be.

This is a summary of the scenario they envisioned starting on page 18.

One scenario they see in 2010 as a possible future outcome is a deadly pandemic that sweeps across the globe infecting 20% of the world's population and killing 8 million. This caused the world's economy as well as global traffic of people to screech to a halt. Tourism and supply chains were damaged and office buildings sat empty. They envision China having mandatory quarantines with near hermetic sealing off of infected areas. But around the world other leaders also flexed their authority and imposed airtight rules. Face masks were mandatory. At first people willingly gave up their sovereignty and privacy. This led to biometric IDs. The world became much more dangerous so that consumers were now buying bullet proof vests to wear to public events. Then countries began to band together for needed resources and economic growth. Meanwhile large protests began to spring up especially among the youth.

Like I have always said: USA should have been stacking gold to the moon, built an unbeatable military for defense, and created a super-prosperous economic engine. Because then it could have ignored the rest of the planet's turmoil and woes and enjoyed life, and banked gigantic piggy bank reserves.

Gold has done better than any single stock on the Dow Jones industrial index since Nixon took us off the gold standard. If Social security has bought gold with those funds for the last fifty years gold would be even higher and Social Security would be solvent.
