Some say that God Himself recorded the first part of Genesis. Some say it was Adam that recorded it. In any case, would God allow it to contain false information about His creation?

If you could get high enough, then - sure - you probably could take a picture of all continents at once. However, you should also remember the 'perspective'/'horizon' thing, too - at any given height, you can only see so far in the 'sideways' directions.

In the Bible, 'planet' means 'wondering star'. That is enough for me to know what it means - a 'planet' is actually a star.

Consider for a moment the technical capability of the people who penned the Scriptures. Would they have been able to ascertain that a planet is fundamentally distinct in nature from a star? Probably not. Generally, God did not give 21st-century knowledge to the ancient peoples. They would have perceived a planet as a bright spot ('star') that moves differently than other bright slots do. If you want to believe that is because it is actually a star, that's fine, but don't expect others to join you.

No I am not. You invented your own subject. I was talking about what the Bible says a 'planet' is. Your post that quoted mine is but an attempt to invent an excuse for how/why the Bible is wrong about it. (Whether you realize it consciously or not.)

God gave you the same 'knowledge' that He gave them - written in the scriptures. And, if there be anything else, you have more because of additional scripture not written yet at the time of some of these people centuries or millennia ago.

And, the question is - do you have the 'wisdom' (and the faith) to believe it [just] because He said it?

(Instead of putting your belief and faith in what modern man has come up with in the name of 'science'.)
