I agree with you that from the Bible writers' point of view the earth was flat. It's what they thought, and God worked with them according to their understanding.

In order for a "ball earth conspiracy" to be true, do you understand how many people/governments/organizations would have to be in on it? Most people aren't stupid. The universe is vast, we've been to the moon, satellites exist, the sun is ~93 million miles away, etc, etc.

The only plausible argument for flat earthers, that I can see, is when you go out to space and look at the earth your seeing a reflection of the earths atmosphere as the sun reflects of it, or when the sun reflects light onto the moon then onto the side of earth where the sun isn't.

But no there are pictures of of earth too when the sun is not passing over that region. It's the same shape.

Anyhow carry on teaching people to deny what scripture clearly teaches.

Flat earthers say the earth doesnt have any curve but Isaiah teaches the earth is a circle.

What your encouraging is people to go and listen to conspiracy experts,

I would be the first to tell you that you should look at every post as simply someone's 'opinion'. From that perspective, I agree that everything is just 'opinion'. However, looking at it from a different perspective - you would do well to investigate some of those "opinions" - you just might be "stunned" at what you discover about the true nature of the world you live in.

What does a wondering star have to do with the shape of a planet ?

Firstly plannets can be explained as wondering as they move,

or even a star because the sun bounces of them.
Venus looks like a lantern when you see it with the naked eye.

But close up with the James web far from it.

But if they wondered away we wouldn't be here. They all wonder in the same direction around a star.

Science càn actually calculate with mathematics and pin point accuracy when the next eclipse will be.

That must mean something.
