"At will" means for any reason or no reason. You can tell them their services are no longer needed. They would have to prove you fired them because of their sexual orientation, which, in this case would be fairly easy. Some people may want him fired but I've never said he should be.
All the show had to do when this whole thing started would've been to simply take down the video, edit out the parts with gay pride stuff in it, and make a statement saying saying it was a mistake; this one employee doesn't reflect the values of the authentic Jesus or of this production. That would've been the end of it. But they didn't; they doubled down and even showed more gay pride stuff in their latest public statement.

I very much doubt that would have been the end of it, especially when people like you would most likely be ballyhooing about how they tried to hide something; no doubt the first vid would have been copied and saved and shared around because some love to stir the pot and are prejudiced against the production in the first place, just like you, repeatedly claiming Jenkins is only doing it for the money, etc.

In the video Dallas showed a poster that a 'Christian???' put together, falsely showing the image of Dallas holding the pride flag, and the Jesus actor smiling down at him. That was not an act anyone I consider a Christian would do as it's total deceit. These types of hateful holier than thou judgmental sorts are harder to see the light and love of Jesus than the so-called hopeless sinners.

talk about a law suit ready to happen. Imagine this great series and the people it is bringing to Christ tarnished because of a sexual discrimination law suit filed against them (federal law prohibits, and as you said.. they could not prove it, but would have every right to file a suit of discrimination) like that is the kind of stuff that needs to happen. Satan would use that and run!!

I watched a Candace Owen's from turning point USA response to it. She showed the video multiple times. i did not even see the flag. Most people I would venture would not have even known if some christian legalist did not catch it and put it out for everyone to see.

There is likely a very big difference between the demographics of Canada, the US, and Finland... for instance, there are hardly any black people where I live, though lots of Asians, and Aboriginals also; racism is certainly a problem regardless, but I can't say I have ever heard a blm sermon, and my Bible believing, Bible teaching church is not a likely candidate to be soapboxing worldly issues in the manner you describe, especially since you talk of worldly pastors, which doesn't lend itself to believing they are saved. I have met some that fit that description, but not many.

It wasn't deceitful. It reflects Dallas Jenkins' attitude; he does approve. He hasn't done or said anything to indicate he disapproves, thus giving tacit approval. All Jenkins can do is rant about the so-called deceptive YouTube thumbnail because everything in the video is true. A man like Jenkins who likes to talk about content so much should appreciate this.

taking sides will alienate some of its audience, resulting in its Christian message reaching fewer people.
In any case, it really doesn't have to take sides because it's not in the business of declaring doctrine.
That is the job of scripture and church, and The Chosen, as people repeatedly point out, is neither.

The lies told by a false witness come from the sinful human heart—along with murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, slander, and evil thoughts (Matthew 15:19). Jesus said that man is defiled by these evil things that come from the heart. The only possible cure for an evil heart that bears false witness is to receive a new, pure heart, which can only be given by God (Ezekiel 36:26). When a person is indwelt by the Holy Spirit, he will be like a fresh spring or a fruitful tree or a budding vine, bursting with good things (John 7:38; Psalm 1:1–6; John 15:4–5). The old is gone, and the new takes its place (Ephesians 4:22–24). Those who are in Christ have a new heart that speaks the truth: “Each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor” (Ephesians 4:25). A person who bears false witness is controlled by the flesh rather than by the Spirit of God, and he should repent of that sin and turn to Christ.

Everyone knows those YouTube thumbnails aren't 100% factual, they're artistic caricatures meant to get people's attention. If there was something in the video itself then yeah, I'd say the guy's a liar; but there isn't. I find it pretty incredible that Jenkins is whining about a YouTube thumbnail being deceptive when the "authentic Jesus" he claims to present is fiction from start to finish.

There is no room in the Holy Spirit for lies/deceit and the same goes for anyone disclaiming the miracles of Jesus presented in The Chosen. Apparently you're focus is on a flag not on the message of the Gospels. I wonder who Jesus would side with here, well actually I don't.
The Bible often includes gossip in lists of specific evils (e.g., 2 Corinthians 12:20; Romans 1:29). Spreading rumors is so repulsive in the Lord’s sight that He made a prohibition against it in the Law He gave to the Israelites (Leviticus 19:16). First Timothy 5:13 sternly warns against using idle time to spread slander. And Proverbs 17:4 implies that those who eagerly listen to gossip have low character.
So why do we enjoy the rumor mill? Proverbs 26:22 gives one reason: “The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to the inmost parts.” There is a delicious thrill in hearing scandalous information about someone we know or wish we knew. Jealousy is often the root of spreading rumors. When we learn “the real reason” someone did something, we can alter our opinion of him or her and make ourselves feel better by comparison. We rarely hear rumors that exalt someone’s reputation. We don’t hear rumors that someone’s son worked hard to make the honor roll again, a friend’s spouse is kind and devoted, or that the Joneses saved for ten years to take that luxury cruise. That kind of information is not a “choice morsel.” Instead, we perk up when we hear that someone’s son cheated his way onto the honor roll, that a friend’s spouse only pretends to be kind and devoted because he is having an affair, or that the Joneses blew their retirement to take that luxury cruise. Those kinds of tidbits let us compare ourselves favorably with the ones gossiped about, and we feel more satisfied with our own lives.
