well actually it does in acts 2: 38
repent is second person plural - in other words peter is speaking to everyone

be baptized is third person singular. so peter is not talking to everyone.

so this in itself is enough to show an error in the english text
Sure Peter is talking to everyone. He says "be baptized every one of you".

I will only say that there is a good possibility that "water" in John 3:5 is speaking of baptism.

And if it is, then in teaching that it doesn't, you are deterring people from doing what might save them...

And God is going to hold you accountable for that; except ye repent.
If it meant baptism, Jesus would have said whoever believes and is baptised will never perish, but has eternal life.

And he would have said whoever believes and is baptised is not condemned, Whoever does not believe, or whoever believes but does not get baptised is condemned already

A good possibility is a false concept. Because Jesus proves in what he said later it is not true at all

water is physical birth..

Nope

Gift of the HS is the result of repenting

remission og sin is the reason to be baptised (you already recieved this remission. proven by the fact you recieved the spirit
We will have to agree to disagree; and the Lord will hold you accountable on the day of judgment for your false doctrine; which deters people from being saved.

John 3:16...those who believe "should not perish"...iffy.

Mark 16:16...those who believe and are baptized "shall be saved"...a more absolute promise
This only demonstrates your lack of understanding of grammar.

If Jesus meant baptiosm, why did he not call it baptism

the word baptism in the greek does not mean water.. Water is one of the many things in which one can be baptized into. But it is not the meaning

Again, your interpreting the word to fit your belief, not your belief to fit the word
What is your interpretation? "water" is amniotic fluid?

You can say that "water" is the word; but to say that it is baptism is just as valid of an interpretation and so ought not to be utterly discounted.

The word speaks of baptism.

yes it is.

lol. You are hard headed my friend. You do not know what the greek word baptizo means, nor what a work is..

You work for a reward. or a wage

if your working for salvation, you are working

Salvation is a gift. NO WORK is required. period.
Again, you say that baptism is a work in order to deny scripture...what is plainly written in the kjv of Acts 2:38-39.

yet you take his spiritual baptism, and turn it into a lie. and replace it with a physical baptism;

don;t say you love christ when you reject his baptism
I haven't rejected it. In being water baptized, I have guaranteed a Spirit baptism.

For the Holy Ghost is absolutely promised to those who receive baptism in His name.

in John 3, Jesus says they are saved

In mark 16, He says they will be saved.

Mark 16 contradicts John 3. That is why6 many reject it is part of scripture. Not to mention what is put in after..
Scripture never contradicts other scripture.

Therefore, you are mistaken.

In Revelation 22:18-19, it declares a very severe penalty for taking away from God's word.

If it meant baptism, Jesus would have said whoever believes and is baptised will never perish, but has eternal life.

And he would have said whoever believes and is baptized <fify> is not condemned,
He did say that, in Mark 16:16.

And certain other people are constantly putting "x's" on my posts.

Romans 6:1-4 teaches us that if we are baptized we will "walk in newness of life"; and 1 Peter 3:20-21 tells us that "baptism doth also now save us".

What part of these things don't you understand?
Romans 6 has nothing to do with water baptism. It is spirit baptism.

The spirit baptizes us into Christ, He death and his burial. no water involved
