What I pray for is not so much for the lost to be saved but for the saved to be made holy.Yes brother, but you and I understand the difference. The lost or new believers don't understand. We are here to help them mature in the faith. We catch em, God cleans em. It's not our job. Our job is to share the Good News. I just feel like lately we Christians think we are Savior and Holy Spirit and then wonder why people don't change. We need to start praying for the lost. We need to bring them in and let God change them. We cannot, they aren't hearing us. I catch em, He cleans them. Let's not get those to twisted and the cart before the horse. Just as I am, we use to sing it. We come to God broken sinners. Do we believe God is still in the saving business?
Just as I am, without one plea
But that Thy blood was shed for me
And that Thou bid'st me come to Thee
Oh, Lamb of God, I come, I come
Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt
Fighting and fears within without
Oh, Lamb of God, I come, I come
Just as I am, Thou wilt receive
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve
Because Thy promise I believe
Oh, Lamb of God, I come, I come
Of course he/she has a soul; and it can be saved.
I agree; let us pray for the salvation of that soul.
It is not going to happen unless she acknowledges her sin as being sin.
Not trying to be harsh, either.
Just declaring the facts.
I don’t hate you by any means; I simply don’t like your all too often aggressive tone when it’s usually unwarranted. Outside of that, I admire the strength of your faith in Jesus Christ. What's your problem with me Snacker? Why are you trying to get people to ignore me? Do you hate me that much?
Completely agree. And I am no one to judge anybody.Yes brother, but you and I understand the difference. The lost or new believers don't understand. We are here to help them mature in the faith.

I have nothing but love for transgender people.
The reason why we are labeled as haters by these people of the world is because they feel hatred towards us...and they project their hatred onto us, psychologically.
I don't know Jeanate that well and nuy from what I have seen which granted as hard as it is to read I was not able to to find the first post made by them but ue seems genuine in heart at least about seeking God. If he sees living as a transgender as not being a sin that doesn't mean he isn't saved plenty of saved people gave beliefs that will take time to learn from.I think that's horrible. Period
But there MUST be a difference between love and acceptance of sin.
And that's not what went on here.
This person CLAIMED to be a born again Christian, and although he thought it sinful to engage in homosexual acts, he did NOT think it was a sin to live as the opposite sex.
Several of us tried to in what I would say was cordial ways to explain why that was wrong.
He then accused us of being haters.
I mean just read the thread starting at his first post.
If your uncle didn't acknowledge that he was a sinner that night, then the preacher may have given him a false comfort.I'm going to give you an example of what I mean. As a young man my uncle got in to drugs. He fell in with a bad crowd and no preaching, pleading or telling him he was in sin helped. But he had a praying mother. When everyone gave up on him, she prayed.
One night they were having a revival speaker in their church. The old preacher took a chair and sat it at the altar and said "someone is going to be saved here tonight". Now that was faith. My uncle got with his friends and they took drugs that night. Someone laced his drugs with a harder drug. He was out of his mind. He screamed and begged his friends to take him to the church but they didn't want to get in trouble. He was so bad they figured they would drop him off and take off. My uncle recounted it from here. " I was screaming, "I'm in hell, I'm in hell" and I saw the chair at the altar. I made a dash for it and the pastor said, " You are not in hell, you are in church and you are safe!" My grandfather rushed to that chair and that night my uncle was saved. Let God do His job, our job is to "catch em", let the Holy Spirit convict and God clean him. <3

Good. Only take forward steps in obedience to God.
James 4:7 KJV
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Each time you resist the devil you will come out of the temptation triumphant in Christ. And into a larger place spiritually.
Keeping the right company will help.
Some Christians can be discouraging, but we are to run with patience after the Lord.
Hebrews 12:1 KJV
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
If we do not acknowledge sin as being sin, we are not saved; especially if we are committing that sin (1 John 1:8,9,10).If he sees living as a transgender as not being a sin that doesn't mean he isn't saved
To lead them to the truth, it would be a mistake to water it down so that they will receive it. A watered down truth will not save anyone. In giving the people the truth, we need to give them the unadulterated truth; even though it may hurt.Belive me there are many who struggle with such things and yet keep seeking after God and if you want to lead them to the truth well you lead them don't you?
Isaiah 42:3I don't know Jeanate that well and nuy from what I have seen which granted as hard as it is to read I was not able to to find the first post made by them but ue seems genuine in heart at least about seeking God. If he sees living as a transgender as not being a sin that doesn't mean he isn't saved plenty of saved people gave beliefs that will take time to learn from.
And I am wondering if perhaps it has something to do with the same kind of thing you have with people who are attracted to the same sex.
The argument of that of whether it is a choice or not and how they apparently choose to live in sin well my argument to that is can you choose to be attacted to the same sex?
No ever says yes and think about the struggle people like that or Jeanate have to go through, can you imagine being born with a stuggle of identity like that? I can only imagine if it were me I would be so confused wonder what is wrong with me and just to be told how I am a sinner because of something I have to deal that I never asked for.
You can tell them all day everyday that they are living in sin you can show them all the scripture you want they have had it all before heard it all before been attacked by it all before your not going to reach them by pointing out their flaws
You have to know how handle different people differently, you can't just speak to everyone in the same way hoping to reach them for someone like this it takes understanding and words to show that that that pointing out their flaws is not what we are about
Belive me there are many who struggle with such things and yet keep seeking after God and if you want to lead them to the truth well you lead them don't you? You don't point your finger to their sins your not going to get them to listen to you like that you lead them to the truth by being a shining example of God's spirit love patience and wisdom.
When they see something different than the normal christain treatment that is when they start being able to be reached
Some who claim that they are saved are indeed sick. That is why my prayer for them is that they may be healed / made holy.Luke 5:31
“And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.”
Yeah i'm going to have to stop you right there. He said it wasn't a sin to him because he was born that way if you were born with homosexual attraction which you have no choice in as that is an actual genetic trait but you don't act on it is it having those desires that makes it or a sin or acting on it?She obviously is not praying to be forgiven of something that she doesn't consider to be a sin.
What I pray for is not so much for the lost to be saved but for the saved to be made holy.
Then the lost won't have their excuse any longer, that there are too many hypocrites in the church; and they will come in by the thousands.
