I live near Kincardine Ontario but I spent most of my life in Calgary Alberta

EDIT: whoops...singles thread. No thanks heh. :)

Oh a Canadians thread? Nice!
Im not Canadian but I visit Canada frequently (the east side).
‘Canada is a wonderful place, people are friendly and nice and the place is very clean in general. Folks are very cool, open minded and non judgmental in general. It’s like a perfect community of Christians actually.
If it wasn’t so damn cold I would have moved there decades ago.
‘Also moving there is not as easy as one might think (because I’ve looked into it) but I wanted to go I would have found a way anyway.
‘Anyway, God bless Canada.

Im reading a novel about Canada at the moment called Gold Mountain Blues. It should be called 'Cold Mountain Blues' although the weather and climate isnt mentioned that much in the novel.

Its more about how one family emigrated from China to Canada in the last century and their fortunes in Vancouver (or Hongcouver as some people call it). Ive not been there but have been to Toronto as there are family there.

Toronto was the site of the 'Toronto Airport Blessing' apparently, a big Christian revival in the late 1980s that happened at the airport..

does anyone still give their ASL online? lol that is so last century.

An interesting thread to dig up though.

Any other Canadians out there?

You're about 15 years late to this thread.
These discussions can still be carried on, nice though you point out they're older so the person knows. The other day a senior member reignited a older Thread which happened to be a hot topic.

It depends. A lot of ancient threads should stay buried.

This one is an exception, a timeless topic that can be dug up for decades and still have a purpose.

Met a student teacher today from Ontario, Canada. Canadians are everywhere.

Hi... Nice to see more Canadians invading the site ;)
22/f/ Kenora, Ontario :D

There was a church right across from the Lakewood school that was moved nearby to another middle school. That's the church my fathers from.
Within all the churches in the area, there is a satanic cult associated with it.
In the clarion Lakeside inn there is a conference room that gets booked for 'chrisitan revivals' during some weekends, but at the door is security. If you are not one of them, then you wont get to enter. It is a satanic get together. You don't ever want to be in there and witness what goes on in there.
NWO is a hornets nest because there's only one highway that connects east to west.Because of that,Kenora has some very rich, powerful satanic cults.
Those that go to their churches receive the lukewarm gospel.
I live nearby. These people don't like me at all,and it's only Gods will that keeps me alive.

Hmm, yes... I'm starting to see why they need security at the door.

I finished the saga of Chinese in Canada. Apparently, if you were not white, you werent supposed to belong in Canada. They purposely excluded anyone not white from settling there, though working to earn money and build railroads was fine

But some Chinese ended up marrying or bearing children with white people anyway since their wives werent allowed to cross over with the working men. Their children then had dual heritage, and never quite belonged to either country according to the govt of the times.

what they could have done was create a third country, called Chanada, halfway in between.

My principal it seem is from Canada, and I really had a hard time understanding what she says what with her Canadian accent and all.
