Not as you believe. But yes, God is disinclined to help Esau and goes out of His way to help Jacob.Did God Hate Esau ? Yes or No
Not as you believe. But yes, God is disinclined to help Esau and goes out of His way to help Jacob.Did God Hate Esau ? Yes or No
As much as you hate the truth.Does God hate Jacob ? Rom 9:13
13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
Does God Love Esau ?Not as you believe. But yes, God is disinclined to help Esau and goes out of His way to help Jacob.
Does God love or hate Esau ? Does He Love or Hate Jacob, or Does He Love and Hate both Jacob and Esau, and it really doesnt matter ?As much as you hate the truth.
We're playing semantics. God loves all. But in the passage being discussed, God favors one, but is not so inclined toward the other. This is easily demonstrated by scripture just by the amount of scripture given to Jacob and not Esau.Does God Love Esau ?
God chose Jacob and his descendants (Israel), and rejected Esau and his descendants (Edomites), who were enemies of Israel and God. This has been explained to you, probably not as many times as you inanely ask the same question over and over and over again ad nauseum, but surely often enough that it need not be repeated to one whose ears and mind are closed to the truth of the matter.Does God love or hate Esau ? Does He Love or Hate Jacob, or Does He Love and Hate both Jacob and Esau, and it really doesnt matter ?
The key is the timing of this Hate for Esau. It refers to how he will Choose his life when he is in place to continue his Grandfather Abraham's Lineage which puts him in direct contact to God? But instead of that mattering to Esau, it did to Jacob. And God wants those WHO want Him! Esau Denied God by throwing away his Lineage and Heritage. And before Esau was born, God knew this about him.Does God love or hate Esau ? Does He Love or Hate Jacob, or Does He Love and Hate both Jacob and Esau, and it really doesnt matter ?
Okay you say God Loves all, but He hated Esau ? So that makes you a false witness friend. We're playing semantics. God loves all. But in the passage being discussed, God favors one, but is not so inclined toward the other. This is easily demonstrated by scripture just by the amount of scripture given to Jacob and not Esau.
If you say. But I do think you should broaden your understanding of what God intends when the terms love and hate are used. Grace and peace.Okay you say God Loves all, but He hated Esau ? So that makes you a false witness friend.
Scripture says God Loved Jacob, but hated Esau, so thats the truth. If you believe differently, you believe a lie. If you believe God loves the workers of iniquity, you believe a lie Ps 5:5 If you believe that God Loves all mankind you believe a lie, and God intends for you to believe it, so see you at the Judgment 2 Thess 2:10-12God chose Jacob and his descendants (Israel), and rejected Esau and his descendants (Edomites), who were enemies of Israel and God. This has been explained to you, probably not as many times as you inanely ask the same question over and over and over again ad nauseum, but surely often enough that it need not be repeated to one whose ears and mind are closed to the truth of the matter.
Ah. So I will burn forever in hell, you are saying? LOL. Good thing I don't believe that deception, either.Scripture says God Loved Jacob, but hated Esau, so thats the truth. If you believe differently, you believe a lie. If you believe God loves the workers of iniquity, you believe a lie Ps 5:5 If you believe that God Loves all mankind you believe a lie, and God intends for you to believe it, so see you at the Judgment 2 Thess 2:10-12
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Gods word says it Rom 9:13If you say. But I do think you should broaden your understanding of what God intends when the terms love and hate are used. Grace and peace.
Unless God converts you to the Truth. You must think the same about me since you said I hate the Truth.Ah. So I will burn forever in hell, you are saying? LOL. Good thing I don't believe that deception, either.
I just told you I do not believe the deception of people burning forever in hell, so why would I think that would be your fate?Unless God converts you to the Truth. You must think the same about me since you said I hate the Truth.
Okay understood, but I do believe it, and so yes, unless God grants you repentance to acknowledge the Truth, I believe you are lost and going to hell. But I dont know, you could be an elect !I just told you I do not believe the deception of people burning forever in hell, so why would I think that would be your fate?
You have quoted it properly. I just believe you understand it poorly. Everything in the bible isn't to be taken at face value. It requires, most often, both study and revelation.Gods word says it Rom 9:13
13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
And I dont believe Esau or others God hates will He have Mercy upon, because they, His Love and Mercy go hand in hand in His Salvation Eph 2:4-5
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)
If you had paid attention to the context in Romans 9 you would see that Rom 9:13-16
13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
I believe I do understand it, and you dont. You have quoted it properly. I just believe you understand it poorly. Everything in the bible isn't to be taken at face value. It requires, most often, both study and revelation.
I admire your zeal in defending your beliefs. I just think a little more knowledge might inform your zeal more fully.
Because I affirm the true meaning of the word hate in the context it is used, you believeOkay understood, but I do believe it, and so yes, unless God grants you repentance to acknowledge
the Truth, I believe you are lost and going to hell. But I dont know, you could be an elect !
You are correct, faith does please God. But unrepentant man does not possess such faith. So as God considers mankind, He enters into saving relationship with him based on their coming to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
My comments were based on mankind in general. You made it specific on purpose and not in accordance with what I believe was the OP's intention or my intention.
Thus, you presumed upon my statements more than intended. This generally happens when things are disagreed upon in other threads and one party still feels aggrieved. So, if I have offended you in the past, please accept my sincere apology. It is never my intention to offend.
This is really rich, coming from one who is steeped in a FALSE GOSPEL. Brightfame52, you need to repent of your FALSE GOSPEL totally.Okay understood, but I do believe it, and so yes, unless God grants you repentance to acknowledge the Truth, I believe you are lost and going to hell. But I dont know, you could be an elect !
