They still make 7up? :p

Back when they made a video game featuring that stupid spot, I thought 7up would be immortal. Now I don't remember the last time I saw a bottle.

Cheerwine (not alcoholic) and Dr. Enuf were my brother's jam back in the day. Both are endemic to east Tennessee, it seems.

Please delete this thread.
Mods don't read every post, so trying to make posts to communicate to them is pointless.
Also mods don't take requests to edit/delete threads or posts except under very specific and limited conditions.
Basically it's up to you to be sure of what you post before posting it, or use the 5 minute edit window.

Not a good reason for deletion, though, since no rules have been broken.

7 Up? Hmmm. Never have been big on carbonated drinks. And I rarely buy a burger
and get the combo to include a drink, even if I am getting fries at the same time.
Yam fries. Yum! But I have at times, and then I will mix 7 Up with Orange Crush
.:D

Not even sure why they wanted it deleted.

And 7UP is best mixed with cranberry juice. It makes a wonderful, fizzy cranberry juice.

I went through a LOT of cranberry juice after my surgeries, but it is not something I normally have
on hand. Funny story: I was ordering through Instacart for a while, and they goofed big time:

Copied from a 2 y/o post: I often cannot get the amounts that I order when ordering groceries online
for home delivery, a couple of Sundays ago I made a special order and asked for 6 three liter jugs of
pure cranberry "cocktail", it is called. Well, the shopper contacted me and told me they only had three,
would I accept three diet as well as three regular? I didn't really want to, but I said okay anyways...
and received the three diet and three cranberry juice BLENDS, which is not what I wanted at all.

So I contacted Instacart and they promised to reimburse me and send via free delivery SIX three liter
jugs of pure cranberry cocktail, but since it was already about 5:30 Sunday evening, the delivery would
be next morning. Only problem was, by the time I checked what was delivered, I discovered I had the
exact same wrong thing again!!! And the delivery guy had already left... so I called Instacart again!

After much discussion on the phone with whomever, they tried to tell me that is what I had ordered, and
I was so frustrated I basically hung up on them at that point, not knowing if I had made that mistake or not.
However. I checked my Instacart app and it clearly showed I ordered what I wanted and NEVER ordered the
juice blend. So I called back. Again. This time they determined there was a glitch in the system (so it was not
my fault after all lol) and they sent me six more three liter jugs that day, again free, and free delivery.

By then I had fifty four (54) liters of cranberry juice in my house o_O:giggle::LOL::ROFL::LOL::giggle:o_O

I have given much of the juice blend away :D

PS~ the diet cranberry juice is not very tasty, so I mixed it in with the regular ;)

My favorite soft drinks:
Barq’s RootBeer
Mountain Dew

Root Beer used to be make with Sassafras roots, but they banned the root for human consumption saying that it (or part of it) caused cancer.

That image is too small... I see palm trees, but cannot read the text. The bottle looks empty LOL.

Even so, much preferable to the horribly huge images people post that
require scrolling - up, down, left, right - to see the whole thing. Ugh!

I ONLY drink 7 UP. That sierra mist and sprite garbage are horrible imitators.

Oh Dr. Pepper is alive and well here. In the south it's the staple soda. At a church dinner we might have a 2-liter bottle each of other sodas, but we'd better have four bottles of Dr. Pepper on hand.

I used to love 7-up. I haven't drank it in years though. Now it's mostly a Coke Zero-equivalent.

I used to like RC, root beer and grape soda, too. None of those have appeal to me now. I also used to love Kool-Aid. However... that to some extent I might still be able to get into.
